After breakfast, Zenesha went to the assembly to talk with some of the ministers. Although, it wasn't important to her, the Wolf Queen was only like a decoration on the throne without saying anything.
Zenesha felt as though she were watching some comedy show every time he was there. It didn't make sense, and in fact, everything didn't make sense to her.
"My love," an arm snaked in her waist as she stood in front of the window and pressed their bodies together.
Zenesha turned to look, only to be met by a peck on her right cheek. It was Yosef. While she smiled at this action on the surface since she was in the middle of the act.
She was already gritting her teeth inside with this disgusting arm around her.
"Yosef," she called, and then smiled, "What do you want?" She spoke softly and gazed at the man.
She couldn't help but roll her eyes inside. Zenesha even knew that Yosef was like this since he had something he wanted. To be able to tell meant that it happened a lot of times, and yet she was so stupid and brainless that she still let these men take advantage of her.
Was Zenesha's existence only there to be tormented? She never understood the plot and the reason for everything, or maybe there was really nothing deeper behind all this aside from being where she was punished by that lunatic.
Yosef grinned sheepishly, and his hazel eyes glistened.
"I want to borrow the Blue Moon Palace for a night, is that okay with you, my love?" He requested with a soft voice that seemed to want to enchant someone.
Zenesha once again snickered inside because of this; she already knew what this man wanted to do in Blue Moon Palace. It was a palace at the far east of the Moonlight Palace, where varieties of performances were held whenever there was an occasion.
There he could just turn the place into a whole night of pleasure, and Zenesha didn't even want to imagine the disgusting event he would host there later this night. However, that was okay too. It was fine as long as this man didn't touch her.
"Of course, everything that's mine is yours too." She again spoke and permitted softly, like some pure doll unblemished by sin.
Zenesha agreed with her heart; he could even occupy that place and devour all the women in the Wolf Empire as long as he didn't appear before her eyes again.
Yosef was immediately delighted and hugged her tightly.
"You're really the best, my love," Yosef complimented, giving her a kiss on the cheek once more.
'The best? It's more like an idiot,' she complained inwardly, which didn't register outside as Zenesha still had a pure smile on her lips.
And that farce led by Yosef ended smoothly like that, and Zenesha was actually pleased that this day didn't have a lot of events that could make her murderous intentions seep into her whole being.
The plot was nonsense and illogical, and Zenesha always thought of a way to reverse things and escape her fate. However, it had been three months since, and she never even made any progress, it seemed she really had no hope.
Yosef had already left, and Zenesha remained standing in front of the window and looking outside. This body was always like this, looking outside when she was alone or even at the moon at night. It was as if... she really didn't have a soul but was a mere puppet.
Zenesha only thought that, as this was really the case in the first place, the original Zenesha and she were mere puppets of fate.
She stared outside with the eyes of Zenesha; even though she couldn't control this body, she could still use all her senses clearly. She never thought she would long for freedom and the outside world this much. Zenesha wanted to cross that barrier that prevented her from escaping, but... she couldn't.
Even at this moment, as there were other people around, the act would still continue. She was still Zenesha Moonlight, the puppet. She could only look at it and never have a chance to experience it. It was a damnable feeling.
With a sigh in her heart, she remained silent inside. Not long after, Zenesha's body had already moved and left her position. She didn't know where she would lead and didn't have any will to ask about it.
The day quickly passed, and after dinner, which she ate on her own, it was finally time for another basking in the moonlight. However, to her surprise, she was walking not in the direction of the Moonlight Garden but to the Harem Quarters!
Zenesha was panicking inside! What the fuck was going on? Was she scheduled for anything tonight? In fact, this was the really immoral aspect of this story; aside from the main harem, which consists of the four spawns of hell, she still had additional harem members.
However, she rarely encountered them. This was also the reason why Zenesha was so pressed and rushing to escape as the main line of the plot would really start. That meant... he would be doing it a lot to those bastards, and that would be the start of the tormented life for Zenesha Moonlight in the novel.
She didn't want to sleep with any of these men or even exchange some saliva with them. Thinking of all these possibilities in the future, she, one of the most feared killers in the world, felt so powerless and weak.
"Your Majesty, that is not the direction of the Moonlight Garden." At some point, Anika's voice resounded behind her and reminded her.
At this moment, she never thought that she would feel grateful to Anika!
'Yes, that was right, Zenesha. This was not the direction, and you still have time to turn around!' Zenesha yelled inside, although she was more like some evil spirit that didn't have any voice or control over the body's actions.
Zenesha's body stopped in her steps, while she was heaving a sigh of relief inside.
She blinked and seemed to be reminded about this too, however, she only smiled.
"I don't know, I just thought of visiting the Crimson Moon Palace all of a sudden," she said in a tone that was hard to refute.
Zenesha was dumbfounded about this. She never truly understood how this Zenesha could think! Was she really just some parasite soul, and the original Zenesha's soul was still inside of this body?
This was a matter worth considering, but the possibility was slim. While Zenesha still never comprehended the matter of her being unable to control her body during the act. One thing was for certain, the shackles she was feeling were real. It was there, invisible, and yet influencing her to the fullest when she was in the middle of an act.
With a nod to her attendants, she continued her steps to the Crimson Moon Palace, where the harem quarters were located. Zenesha could only watch as her body continued without having the ability to refuse. Even the attendants couldn't stop her, so how could she, who was a merely lost soul attached to this body?
It didn't take long for them to arrive at their destination. The Crimson Moon Palace was in the west part from the Moonlight Palace, and just like its name, it was so decorated with rubies that it glowed crimson from afar.
And before she entered inside, someone actually got up from the bushes at the side, giving Zenesha and the attendants a fright.
