The Ruby Necklace
Elvira is still pondering over all that had happened to her when a soft knock is heard and the door opened and a beautiful woman entered.
It was the woman she saw when she first woke up her Aunt Evadne, she now remembered that she also saw her rushing to save them when they were kidnapped.
Now that the hustle and bustle had calmed down, she is able to look at the woman properly. Although she had noticed it before; she looks a bit like Junia and she had light brown hair as oppose to Junia's black hair and her face looks gentler than Junia's and she walks gracefully, in contrast with Junia's sharp movements.
Evadne sat down beside her bed and looked at her with eyes filled with worry.
"I heard you wanted to go see young Eardwulf. I'm sorry you can't see him yet darling." Evadne spoke softly.
Elvira lowered her head and did not speak.
Evadne smiled gently and slowly reached out her hand to hold Elvira's hand.
"Elvira darling? Look at me please." Evadne coaxed Elvira.
