Mother-in-law!

Nicholas was angered so much that the screen of his phone cracked because of his firm grip. Since he couldn't suppress his anger anymore, he didn't stick around. He swiftly turned around and rushed to the elevator.

He really wanted to kill someone!

By the time he reached his office, he had calmed down a little. At the very least, he wouldn't go on killing people right off the bat.

But when he looked at his assistant, his eyes cooled down. What was the use of keeping such a person by his side when the man couldn't even deal with his 'dear wife?'

It was time to make his little assistant pay for what he hadn't been able to do.

For some reason, when William watched his boss returning to his office, he felt a chill down his spine. He lowered his head and pretended to be working on his computer. It wasn't until he felt his boss's huge body looming over his computer that he stood up in fear and asked, "W-What happened, boss?"

"In my office. Right now."

After speaking those words, Nicholas turned around and walked toward his office, shutting the door loudly behind him.

William felt a layer of cold sweat forming on his back.

Something terrible is going to happen to him, and he could tell it was unconsciously related to that woman! Ah, she made things worse for him!

On the other side, Abigail released the breath she was holding when she finally got inside the car arranged for her. She nervously looked back at the entrance of the building, and when she found no guards rushing after her, she relaxed completely against the seat.

D*mn, that was crazy even for her! No, wait a minute, why did she have to kiss him on the cheek?! Just why, ah? Did she go insane or something?

Abigail bit her nails in anxiety as she constantly looked at the door. Her face looked extremely worried to the point that the driver up ahead who happened to glance back from the rear view mirror frowned. He still said nothing and continued to drive.

Suddenly, he heard the lady screaming out of anxiety. He glanced back only to see the woman clutching her hair. She screamed and screamed until even the driver felt that he was probably doing something wrong.

In the end, he couldn't contain his curiosity anymore as he asked, "Mrs. Harrison, do you need something?"

Abigail raised her head and looked at the driver blankly. Her gaze turned calm and composed in the blink of an eye as she looked over in confusion.

"Did you ask me something?"

The driver decided not to remind her of her ingrained anxiety and said, "Do you need to get some shopping done?"

"Yes!" Abigail quickly threw the previous matter to the back of her head.

It was just a kiss, nothing else! They were husband and wife already! What's the shame in doing what she did?! She should be happy that Nicholas didn't come after her in anger for that kiss! That means their relationship should be improving, right?

Abigail giggled as she rolled about on the backseat, confusing the driver even more.

This lady… She was anxious to the point of pulling out her hair just a moment ago, and now she was giggling. Did she like shopping so much?

The driver shrugged and drove the car to the nearby shop. Of course, since Abigail had already done a lot of shopping, she didn't make that much of a mess. She politely bought a few extremely expensive dresses and threw her husband's credit card at the shopkeeper's face to shut them up.

Why expensive, though? Because she wanted to get back at her dear husband for kicking her out like this. He deserves it for treating her like a potato sac!

By the time she returned to the house, it was already late in the evening. Her stomach grumbled as she carried the back inside the front door of the house. But before she could step inside, she heard a female voice, coldly speaking to her, "So this is the woman he married."

"Huh?"

Abigail raised her head and looked at the newcomer only to be stunned. Shopping bags fell to the ground with a thud as she looked at the woman sitting on the couch with a glint of excitement in her eyes. Beside her, the second young master…. No, Chris Harrison sat with a nervous expression on his face.

The woman on the couch didn't look old despite her age. It could be seen that she had taken care of her body perfectly. It could even be seen that she was a frequent gym visitor from her toned arms. But what was even more attractive about the woman was her brown hair with caramel highlights.

Her black eyes were full of coldness as she looked at Abigail and said, "You know who I am?"

"En." Abigail's eyes practically glowed as she looked at the woman eagerly and said, "Rosa Harrison, owner of the Harrison Boutique and mother of two handsome guys!"

AHHH, SHE COULDN'T BELIEVE SHE WAS MEETING SUCH A LEGENDARY FUJOSHI!!!

THIS WAS A CHARACTER SHE HERSELF CREATED!

Abigail was so happy that she grinned and even failed to see the woman's face darkening by the second. She immediately picked up the bags from the ground and scooted closer, crouching on the ground in front of the lady.

"Mother-in-law!" She handed all the bags she had spent hours to purchase and said, "This is for you! I originally bought these a while ago, but I still purchased the best of everything, and since you're my mother-in-law,"-and the character I created-"you deserve to have these!"

Rosa tilted her head as her eyes narrowed. She looked at the bags and found a familiar brand at the top.

Huh, she liked that brand too.

She started unfolding the clothes one after another, and to her surprise, the choice of this young lady was interesting! Her eyes finally stopped being cold as she looked at the clothes with a hint of interest in her eyes.

Abigail saw that her newfound mother-in-law got busy looking at the bags and released the breath she was holding. She would never admit that the clothes she bought were all originally selected personally by the staff member at the shop!

As if Abigail could make a choice of her own! The only greatest choice she ever made was probably creating that novel of hers!

Lol, Nicholas is furious!

It's still going on, nauseous, weakness (it turns out, I was having a bout of dehydration, nothing serious.)
