Prince Revaz was startled by Kalliope's sudden outburst. His shoulders flinched as his leg subconsciously wanted to take a step back. He wasn't sure what riled her up but the aggression buffeting the air around her was too explicit to be ignored. Kalliope stared at him with a pair of piercing eyes that seemed to drill into his head.
He knitted his eyebrows and asked, "What?"
Kalliope was already agitated yet the second prince's reaction was a bit slow. Thus, she reflexively gritted her teeth and appeared even more tensed. "I said, what did you mean by giving up most of his power to change me and thus, breaking the very core of his soul??"
