2 Chapter-1 :The meet
3rd POV
Athena Darcy is a quiet and stoic girl after her mother had died. She had basically become expressionless.4-year-old girl Athena is just a calm and elegant girl
Her father Bryon Darcy wanted to spend time with his daughter to make her feel better.
He had taken her to all their territories.
"This is all of our land Athena. Protect our places from outsiders and make us proud Athena. " Bryon tried his best to explain to Athena
"....."She just gave a blank reply
"Ok. I know you feel bad Athena. But enemies don't wait to attack us. Always remember that " Bryon replied
Byron has detected a huge explosion at temple ruins. Athena also detected it using their cultivation.
"Let's go to the temple ruins. Carter takes us to ruins. " Byron ordered him
The Cart has moved and they went to the temple ruins.
<Temple ruins >
"Now there is an explosion here. Did an enemy attack us ?" Byron wondered.
"There... "Athena pointed at the unconscious boy.
Byron looked at the unconscious boy. And thought of several reasons as to why he is there.
"Could he be a spy? I don't detect any energy or cultivation from him. It's almost like he is a normal guy. "Byron wondered.
The world is filled with magic and cultivation. Magicians argue that magic is superior and vice versa. Everyone has different tastes in power.
"Let's take him to our castle. We will have to question him. Whether he is an ally or not " Byron declared.
Athena silently looked at the boy wondering who is he. She felt sad for him. He is left alone without any people to look after him just like her.
She found herself resembling him somewhat. That's what her instincts told her.
Athena is a rational girl who also uses her intuition. Her intuition gives her weird feelings.
"let's take him " Byran sighed.
<Timeskip to taking to their castle>
They took (John)Unconcious boy to the interrogation rooms. They took him to the interrogation rooms and checked his memories to see them blocked by a magic force.
"Argh! We can't find his memories. Who is this kid? " They had wondered
"Carter take him to your home and treat him for now. We will discuss about him once he awakes " Bryon told Carter.
Bryon wanted to resolve the issue of why a kid her daughter's age is at the temple ruins.
Bryon felt like someone magically transported him here using magic. He is too tired to deal with the issue.
He left John to one of his trusted servants to take care of him.
The servant will observe John's behavior and actions and he will reply back to Bryon. Bryon is precautious of threats.

3rd POV
Carter placed john in a bed . And he is preparing medicine for him.
John slowly opened his eyes to see a small house that looked like a room. He felt frustrated and annoyed by the situation he is in.
He disliked everything that is happening.
If he is in a new world . He had to forget the time he spent with his friend group and the blokes with whom he played cricket.
He never wanted to forget about them even if he came to a new world.
In the end, he decided to adapt to this new world.
"H-Hello" He slowly whispered those words hoping to get a reaction
"Ah! You are awake. " A man came beside him.
"You have been sleeping for 2 days since you have come here. "
"My apologies where are my manners. My name is Carter.I am a servant that works for Nobel house Darcy. We don't have last names. " The man said.
John deduced that the world he is in resembles the medieval era. And hopefully, it's not too foreign for him
"If it's not too much trouble. May I ask your name? "The man told him.
"John," He said not wanting to use his last name.
It will trouble if someone notices he is the descendent from a noble house.
"John, hmm. That's not a rare name. And still, I can't remember a boy like you living here."
"Perhaps you are abandoned by your family without your knowledge and are left alone.It's not rare to find orphans here. "Carter told john
"I am the same as you. I am alone and all by myself. Darcy's house found me and I own them for it. "The man ranted.
John easily deduced that an orphan like him will feel that everyone is orphaned like them in order to please their harsh past.
John prepared his story when the man is ranting about his past.
What do you expect from a storyteller like John?
"I was a-abused verbally at my home . They left me as they thought I am u-useless, waste of space in the home. T-They said I-I am w-wasted c-child and they couldn't f-fill my s-stomach. " John told Carter a fake story about him.
"Did you know anything about your home? We can punish them. Child abuse is a crime you know " Carter told him.
"I c-called them, father and mother. They n-never let me out of the home. They w-wouldn't want me s-spreading about them and they are as-shamed to call me their son ." John finished the fake story with style .
With this story . No one can ask his parents' names, no one can ask his location, no one can ask him why he is abandoned in the ruins,No one will ask him physical proof of the beatings , No one will be suspicious of him.
His name resembles English culture. And him not telling his last name made him less suspicious.
It seems like Carter believed his story. Well, John is abandoned like carter, so carter felt sympathy for john. As he knew what being abandoned felt like.
And who in the world would be still suspicious of a 4-year-old after the whole story, Even in the medieval era or modern era anyone will believe a child's bullshit.

"Drink this medicine .And wait for a moment I will speak with the Lord " Carter told john .
Carter gave John some weird medicinal juice.
John drank that medicine and it tasted very bitter . John reluctantly drank the medicine.
After drinking that medicine . John felt a lot better.
John felt why he drank the medicine .It could be poision .In the strained and moment John drank it without thinking .He is too tired to be suspicious of the drink .
It is a rookie mistake of John .But he had to drink it , he is thirsty from the whole speech thing .
Without eating food and drinking . John can't live .He has to drink and eat the food in the new world .
It's tough adjusting to the food and drinks you normally don't drink.
Who knows how the BOD and COD levels of the drinks are .
John is curious about how the new world works.
What are the pressure, gravitational force, and other scientific changes in the new world?
But first, he should focus on his biological health and survival . He can satisfy his curiosity later.
John tried to wake up but he is too tired to do anything.So he stayed in the bed for a while
After some time Carter came back to the house with a happy smile on his face
"Good news. The Lord has accepted you into his house. He gave you a role " Carter told john.
"Your job is to behave well in front of the lord and he will give you a role according to your strengths.I will explain the role when you get it "
John couldn't believe it . He had to babysit someone's daughter when he isn't confident in his survival . Just another problem he needs.The
He had to accept the role as he has no choice but to do it in order to live.
He didn't like risking his life for someone. The way his life will be treated as a disposable pawn is something he would never accept.
He doesn't want to risk his life-saving someone else . What's the point of his survival then.
Anyone would call him selfish . But John wanted to live for himself. He never liked how others valued his life little but that's what made him stand up for himself.
Sure the noble helped him and treated him well . But that's no excuse for john to risk his life.
He would be anything but a personal bodyguard and a pawn in the whole Nobel games.
Just because he doesn't like sacrificing himself doesn't mean he won't help others .
He will help others as long as his life isn't risked .
In the end john decided to gather some information
