"They were not innocents. No one is," Zhuo Jingren clarified. He sighed as he realised that his blunt and detached comments left Lily speechless. "Two hundred and thirteen people," he uttered, sending Lily's eyebrow flying towards her hairline. Was he going to tell her about himself?
