Aftermath of the First Battle
Collapsing onto my butt against the tunnel wall, I glanced at my quivering legs with annoyance apparent on my face.
'Even at 6C, this much power output is far too much for my body to handle as a No-Ranker.' Clicking my tongue, I began massaging my legs, starting at my thighs and moving down to my calves.
Each light press sent jolts of electricity up my legs to the base of my spine, causing me to grimace in pain with every second that transpired.
'I've got a bad feeling I did more damage than I initially believed,' with that ominous thought, I rolled up my pantlegs, and what I saw caused my eyes to narrow upon spotting the large splotches of purple, blue, and red marks running the full length of the important muscular structure of my legs.
