The guilt he discerns

Thea's eyes widened without blinking when she felt his lips brushing against hers. She felt her body turn numb and she clinged onto Aaron's shirt in order to prevent herself from falling to the ground.She didn't kiss him back. She just stood there, frozen.

'Sweet...'

It was the first thought appeared inside Aaron's mind when he kissed Thea. Her lips were so soft and sweet that he couldn't get enough of them. He was so greedy that he wanted to taste her more as he tried to open her mouth.

But unfortunately, the girl pushed him away with all her might. She was panting slightly and her little face was flushed red. Aaron chuckled. It seemed like this silly girl forgot to breathe when he kissed her. 

Thea was so angry that she blurted out, "Aren't you afraid that you are cheating on Sofia?"

When she said that, she already regretted it as she recalled her mission. She wanted to smack her stupid mouth.

Meanwhile, Aaron stood at the same spot motionlessly. His whole body stiffened and he couldn't say a word. Thea wanted to apologize to him however she knew that she wasn't wrong. Thus she could only keep her mouth shut. 

The situation turned awkward. Finally Aaron broke the silence.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled and left with his head lowered. Thea somehow felt bad.

"The fu*k! He likes you, Thea! I think you have already completed one step. Now only Sofia is left to purchase." Samantha excitedly said.

She was secretly watching this whole drama for a long time before popping up infront of Thea when she saw Aaron's departure.

Thea wanted to roll her eyes.

"Why? Is she a thing to buy?" She questioned unhappily.

She loved this sweet female lead. She was such a good girl and she only acted like a badass lass only because of the previous Thea's misdeeds.The current Thea liked Sofia, therefore she was displeased by Samantha's words.

Samantha giggled.

"Don't tell me that you fell for her when you kissed her cherry like red lips, ha?"

This time,Thea did roll her eyes.

"Nonsense! By the way, how could you say that I have completed one step of my mission?"

"Why? Aaron kissed you girl! Isn't this enough to prove that he likes you?" Samantha asked in disbelief.

"Don't tell me that he's a jerk."

Thea coughed. "I don't know whether he's a jerk or not. But a single kiss doesn't mean that he likes me. What if it's only an impulsive act? Or... he only has a temporary crush on me?" Samantha finally nodded her head. "Yep, that's a problem then." 

The class was unusually quiet after the drama session. Most of the students felt guilty to talk to Thea.They all underestimated her talents and even mocked her behind her back.They didn't deserve to praise her skills after all these things.

Plus, they were afraid of offending Aaron.His gloomy appearance scared them out of their wits.Thus none of them uttered a single word about the audition as they all thought that Aaron was in a terrible mood because someone dared to snatch away his character from him.

They didn't know the real cause of his gloominess. If they did, it would have been another shock to them. 

Thea was also silent and she didn't even talk with Samantha. She was in a bad mood too as she was feeling angry about herself.

'Why am I so helpless at this point?' She thought to herself. She didn't think about this problem before.But now...she could finally understand that the things she was doing... were so wrong.

'Am I a bad person?' This thought made her eyes turn red in sorrow.

"Hey Thea, what are you thinking?" Samantha asked, looking concerned.

Thea shook her head while wiping the tears away from the corner of her eyes.

"No,it's nothing." She denied.

Samantha sighed and got closer to her. She looked at the French teacher who was busily writing something on the board.

"Tell me what's bothering you. Am I not like your own sister, Thea?" Samantha whispered in a low voice.Thea smiled from the bottom of her heart when she heard her. 

"Am I a bad person who plays with others feelings?" She asked the question that bothered her the entire day. Samantha firmly shook her head.

"No way! Are you nuts? You're the sweetest and coolest person I've ever met. You're not such a person. Why did you even think such nonsense?"

Thea lowered her eyes. "But my mission... It forces me to make two people fall in love with me, Isn't this bad? Am I not hurting them sooner or later?" 

Samantha sighed heavily. "Think like they are just some stupid characters created by someone. It will reduce your guilt." She eventually said what she thought more suitable to console this little kitten.

Thea was happy to hear that.

"Yep, they aren't real. Why should I care?" She mumbled.

Samantha, who was also a stupid character created by the same person as them: "..." 

'It's okay as long as you're not upset anymore.'

"Holy fu*k!" The driver exclaimed while stepping on the break.

Thea, who was absent-mindedly scrolling through her phone all this time, was thrown forward and hit her nose hard on the front seat. She felt like her nose was almost broken.

"What happened?" She asked, rubbing her sore nose. 

"A pizza boy bumped into the car just now."
