She's angry with Siri

"What is it?" Thea asked lazily. "And do you really think you have a hand to give me? Why didn't I see your hand before? Wait, are you actually a human in a system cloth?"

Siri was so angry that it wanted to eat its host alive.

"You stupid rat, How could you insult me? And you're such a dumb woman who can't even understand the idioms properly. If it's not for my job, I have resigned from working with you a long time ago."

Thea scoffed. "Did I ask you to assist me in the first place? You are so lazy that you won't help me when I need you the most. And who said I'm a rat or a woman? You're the one who's stupid here, Sari, Seri whatever. Listen, I'm a pretty human GIRL unlike you, you rotten stinky witchy system. One more thing, don't be so narcissistic. I don't like working with you either."

If Thea said those things loudly, instead of thinking inside her mind, she would have to drink an entire glass of water to wet her dry throat.

Siri pondered for a moment before finally asking, "Why are you so angry with me by the way?"

Thea sighed. "I'm angry with you because you appear inside my mind whenever you want to. If I ever need you, you won't show up no matter what! Like the day I almost died... I asked for a plan to escape from that gangsters from you. But you... You didn't even bother to say a single word!" Her voice was filled with extreme disappointment.

Siri laughed for the first time.

"This is a novel world, Thea! I can't change the plot as I please. I can only help you when I'm allowed to. That time, I didn't get permission to help you."

Thea arched her eyebrows.

"Is that so? Why didn't you explain it earlier? Weren't you afraid that I might misunderstand you.."

"You already did! Now listen, we don't have time to waste. I'm gonna give you an interesting piece of news."

Thea sat up straight asking, "What is it?"

"As I told you before, It's about the previous Thea. She had a secret only the author knew. He deliberately hid it from the readers by only giving a tiny hint."

Thea racked her brain to recall that part. She forgot about the small incidents as she only remembered the important things and... ahem... the romantic scenes between Aaron and Sofia. Her face flushed red when she recalled how Aaron tricked Sofia only to plan how to propose to her grandly. Initially, Sofia misunderstood him, thinking that he had a secret affair. But when she realized that she was wrong, her love for Aaron was increased at a rapid speed.

Even a person like Thea, who wasn't romantic and had a low EQ, couldn't help becoming touched. Sometimes she wondered how great it would be if she could witness these lovebirds' love in reality too. Unfortunately, a stupid mission made her prevent them from getting close to each other.

People can blame her for being so vicious and selfish to destroy a happy couple by coming between them. However, she was helpless. She never thought that she needed to fulfil such a ridiculous mission. She wasn't a saint. So why would she sacrifice her new, rich, comfortable life for someone else's love story?

Nevertheless, Thea had a secret plan and she didn't intend to let Siri know about it as she was afraid of listening to its never-ending scolding. It was, if one day she came to a realization that the love between Aaron and Sofia was true and pure, instead of breaking them apart, she would try her best to strengthen their love and leave this novel world with no regrets. For that, she wanted to test them. That's why she decided to get close to them just to see through their hearts.

Seeing that Thea was in a very deep thought, Siri activated a throat-clearing sound for a second before questioning, "Recalled it already?"

Thea was taken aback.

"Recalled what?" She blurted out.

Siri sighed. "HUuHh! Never mind, Let me help you recall it. Do you remember her habit of going out to see one of her friends? She went to a certain game store every Sunday just to visit her friend. Something is suspicious here, isn't it?"

Thea's eyes widened as the unexpected possibility hit her.

"You mean... She's actually a gamer herself?!"

If Siri had a head, it would be nodding it by now.

"She's even more talented than her brother who got the first prize in a gaming competition in this district maybe last year? He got it before you transmigrated here. That means the original Thea did know that he got a prize in a game, much more it's her favourite one, 'The Island of Tan Sen Blue monsters', TITSB."

Thea pouted her lips unhappily.

"Stop calling her 'The Original Thea'... You make me feel like I'm a fake one."

Siri sneered. "What's wrong with it? You are obviously a fake one, aren't you?"

Thea gritted her teeth in anger. "You..."

Siri didn't pay any heed to her as it continued.

"She is ashamed of being a gamer as she felt like games belong to boys and she was afraid if someone knew her ability, it would ruin her 'I'm totally a noble and elegant lady' reputation. Her good friend helped her keep her secret."

"What a stupid psycho!" Thea blurted out. "But her gaming talent has nothing to do with me. I can't even handle this thing properly." She said holding a game controller.

"No, her talent has a thing to do with you. Directly speaking, you can obtain her gaming talent and become the best gamer, surpassing your own brother!" Siri's voice turned louder and louder as if it was also excited about the whole thing.

"Whaaaat?" Thea roared in disbelief.

"What happened?" Henry anxiously asked, rushing over to her.
