UNDESERVING (Part 1)
Rania ran towards the barrier once again, bringing Selena with her. But when she got back in, she was no longer with her. Coughing, Selena stayed outside the barrier, wondering where Rania suddenly disappeared to.
"You can't come inside?" Rania stepped out of the barrier again, almost scaring Selena as she suddenly popped out of nowhere.
"What the—where did you? H-How—" Selena was at a loss of words.
Rania tried to grab her hands and force her inside but the barrier rejected her, sending weak electrical shock to her fingers.
"Aw! What is that?!"
"Oh no, where should you hide if you can't come in," Rania muttered. She always thought that humans should be able to go inside even if the sprites told her that nobody else could see the place, even the human maidens.
Selena shook her head. "I don't know how you're doing that but I'm off to run. T-thanks for helping me." She awkwardly said her thanks and quickly ran off to the east.
