Chapter 4: The force

John who opened his life up the the shadowy figure learned that it was attached to him no matter where he went in his room the shadowy figure always looked towards him. The shadowy figure was 1.8 meters had purple glowing eyes that had a trail about them and a red smile that extended all the way to it's cheeks, it's hands were black but had a red and violet glow, it feet was pure black that had a very faint yellow glow. John couldn't make out it's gender no matter how hard he tried.

John was still unsafe about the shadowy figure but it helped him so he could survive with only one finger broken, but it was based on luck wasn't it? John who then realized that his finger that was broken was black and had a soft red glow at first he was surprised about his finger but then he realized he couldn't move it and has he looked at the shadowy figure he then noticed that it was missing it's right index finger which then was replaced by a rapid regenerated index finger that wasn't black then John looked closer at the finger only to realize that it was his!

John at first didn't know what to do with the information but at this point he was very tired and decided to sleep but the shadowy figure was watching him he felt unsettled then a rattling happened at the door which he look up from his rotting bed to see a plate of food there, he saw what was on the plate, a apple, milk, and a slice of cheese pizza, he got up and slowly walked towards it he looked at it with distain but his stomach was screaming at him to take a bite of it which then he sat down and picked up the pizza it was cold he took a bite of it, it tasted like cardboard and he wanted to spit it out. The pizza reminded him of the medication he took when he was sick and his mother berating him for trying to spit it out and forced down the rest of the medication down his throat.

John did manage to eat the pizza slice and drink the milk but he left the apple and gave it to the shadowy figure to see what it would do with it, only to find out that the shadowy figure took it and placed it in the middle of his body, after a few seconds his right index finger glowed white and both of the fingers were back at their original place. Armed with this knowledge John went to sleep ready for the next day.
