I'm now standing in front of the main building of Khan group of companies. The building was huge and stylish, one fitting for a very wide spread company I would like to join hands with. When my father turned 60 years old he already in trusted me with managing our family's company. As his only child, I am his only successor. Not many know about this because of constant death threats to my family that are from our rivals. And because of those threats, in order to protect me my father instructed me to only be on the sideline and to act dumb so that our rivals would not see me as a target. Many people see me as a dump child just like Rafael and Lilian because those people are the real fools. My father's first priority was our family's protection so even if making me look dumb breaks his heart he would still do it. Everything has sacrifices and you must do them to survive.

"Hi! Is Mister Lorenzo already in his office?" I ask the front desk.

"Yes Ma'am, are you Miss Walter? From Walter's Inc.?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Okay Ma'am, right this way please." She said guiding me to a big wooden door which seems similar to me...weird. I thanked her and knocked two times before pushing the door open to see a sight to be hold. The very handsome man I bumped into yesterday sitting in a swivel chair. What an eye candy, yum! Stepping out of my daze I greeted him.

"Hello! I'm Luna Walter from Walter's Inc. I'm here to—," I smiled brightly.

"I know who you are and what your reason of coming here is Miss Luna...I've read your proposal and it's good but I have a question, if I become your partner, what would I get out of it?" he said leaning over his desk.

"Well Sir—,"

"You can call me Lorenzo"

"Okay Si-Lorenzo you will be assured that you will earn a lot of funds out of this proposal, this will also strengthen both our company's standing in our aspired industries and—-"

"I don't need those materialistic things, I have plenty of those myself. I am asking you, what can I get out of you...what can I get out of this project that I won't get from others?"

"Lorenzo, I know that but we can give you everything security, money, stability, and loyalty. My company is a very reliable one and I am sure you can not find any other company as successful as ours. Our companies are both top one on the charts! What else do you want?!" This man is so handsome but is one heck of a headache!

"What if I say I will sign the contract for one condition..."

"Anything, I'll do anything...!"

"Anything?" he mused.

I wouldn't be standing here if this was all child's play, dumbass! "Yes, anything!!"

"Okay then, I want you to be my wife!"
