The atmosphere was already buzzing with excitement over the highly anticipated showdown between Stephen and Bryan. However, the presence of Trevor and Roy added an extra layer of anticipation and intrigue among the members of the academy. Trevor exuded a certain charisma and brilliance that captivated everyone's attention like a dazzling gem catching the light. On the other hand, Roy seemed to possess a more understated yet undeniable allure, akin to a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. It was clear that both individuals were superbly matched for this particular contest, setting the stage for an enthralling and closely-fought battle.
As the match began Roy decided to test Trevor by approaching him head-on with his speed at first which seemed like a good idea at the time
"What a useless thing to do," Trevor whispered to himself, knowing what Roy was intending to do. He raised his left hand and clinched it together, chanting, "May The Kings Spear Pierce The Unwilling... (Earth Spear)" Trevor said completing his chant while still sitting down.
After that, spear-like spikes start rising from the earth simultaneously, which slows down Roy's speed. But that doesn't stop him from heading toward Trevor despite the danger.
Seeing that the skill he used didn't phase Roy, Trevor mused' waiting for Roy to reach him, but in the next moment, Roy suddenly disappeared from his sight, which startled him for a second before he prepared himself for whatever came next.
Roy POV
As I approached, I deliberately reduced my pace, anticipating that he would attempt to intercept me. My caution was justified when his initial strike almost took me by surprise, but I had anticipated this move and was ready to counter it.
The moment I was 20 feet close to him, I used my skill "(shadow step)," which would only last for 1 minute, and I increased my speed.
In a fleeting moment, I observed his composure slipping, giving me the opportunity I needed before he could rise from his makeshift throne. As I materialized before him, he swiftly anticipated my move and raised his sword in defense. Little did he know, that was all part of my plan.
"It's that all to your futile pla--" Trevor was about to complete his words but was surprised at my absence, and before he could react, I tried to stab him, but his throne materialized as a shield to stop my thrust.
The moment I made contact to see if I could push through it, my right-hand dagger was destroyed, a very strong shield indeed.
"Instructor Craig commented, "It seems he already planned for a moment like this. What a terrifying young boy." His tone hinted at an anticipation of the outcome, but as events unfolded, a smile spread across his face."
Meanwhile, Trevor stares at me with murderous intent sensing it I suddenly have cold sweats running down my face at that moment I chant my unique skill from my shadow ability "Everlasting Light Consumer (Shadow dorm)" As soon as I'm done a dark shadow risen from behind him turning into a cacoon and consumed him.
"While in my (shadow dorm), one loses all of their five Sense, rendering them unable to do or feel anything until one is dead or, in your case, lost consciousness, but either way, I win," I said with a confident smirk. I waited for the familiar sensation of being transported back, but to my surprise, nothing happened.
"Impossible," I exclaimed in shock, disbelief washing over me as I realized something had gone wrong.
Trevor POV
"No need to be shocked you did better than I expected. If I had miscalculated a little, I would have lost, but don't worry, let's end this," I said, and then his skill was destroyed by me and I was seen standing with blood all over.
As Roy stood before me, his face twisted with determination, I felt a surge of respect for his bravery. "You fought well, Roy," I acknowledged, locking eyes with him. "I shall remember your name from now on." With a calm but firm tone, I raised my hand and uttered the incantation, "Unique skill. Let thee be crushed under their arrogance and pride (All Destroyer)." As I spoke, the very ground beneath him seemed to obey my command, splitting open
He attempted to execute a series of swift shadow steps, but suddenly, sturdy earth hands emerged from the ground and seized him in a firm grip. "You can't evade my unique skill, Roy. Don't resist it," I said softly as he was consumed and we were instantly transported back.
