As Yin Chen was still talking to her, Li Fei felt a strong urge to throw up and she ran searching for a suitable place. She opened the first room she could find and ran towards the bathroom then bent over the toilet lid and puked.
Yin Chen who had followed watched her throw up and she wondered what it could be. Could it be that she was pregnant?
After cleaning herself, Li Fei wiped her lips with the back of her hand and turned to face her. "What happened?" asked the old woman. "I just felt nauseous. I'm still feeling dizzy," she said as she slowly walked out and Yin Chen followed asking," Are you feeling weak? Can you walk?" "Yes. I can," she replied walking towards the sitting room to have a seat.
Yin Chen went to stand in front of her and blocked her way then looked at her and said," Do you know that... you could be pregnant?" "Pregnant?!" Li Fei exclaimed.
"Pregnant?!!" they heard Jin Liwei's voice who had just got home. He quickly walked to where they were and looked at Li Fei to ask," Are you pregnant?" Confused, she looked at Yin Chen before saying," No. I mean... we don't know, I just threw up and we don't know why."
He immediately carried her towards the couch and gently laid her down then said," You stay here so that you don't hurt the baby." "Jin Liwei, I'm not pregnant! We are not sure yet," she told him, not wanting him to get disappointed when it turns out not to be true.
"I know but I think it's true. You know that we've been doing it everyday and we don't use any protection," he said and Li Fei's face turned red in embarrassment. What nonsense was he spouting in front of Yin Chen?!!!
The old woman cleared her throat to remind him that she was present so that he could spare her the details. "I think the best thing to do is to call the doctor," she suggested and Li Fei nodded at that.
"Okay. Call him then," Jin Liwei said and he leaned forward to carry her in his arms. "Jin Liwei, I can walk by myself," she said but he didn't listen to him. "These stairs are long. What if you fall and harm the baby?" he asked climbing them with her in his arms.
"Jin Liwei, we haven't confirmed that I'm pregnant," she told him again but he didn't listen and carried her to the bedroom.
Shortly, the doctor arrived and did an examination on her under Jin Liwei's observation. After the examination, the doctor said," There's nothing wrong with her. She's just stressed and she needs to take proper rest, that's all."
"Ah, is that all?" he asked looking at the doctor keenly. "Yes, that is all," he confirmed. Li Fei sat up and asked," Uhm..so I'm not pregnant?" "No miss. You're definitely not pregnant," he assured and Li Fei nodded in disappointment.
