Chapter 105 They knew everything

Li Fei's eyes widened in shock. She had kept that information from her parents when she was in prison because she didn't want to worry them. "W-who told you that Mom?" she asked. "Your doctor friend told me the last time he came to visit. And now that I remember, why didn't you tell us about these things Li Fei?" By this time, Li Fei's cheeks were stained with tears for she knew that they would never acknowledge their relationship. Caihong had made sure to spoil everything.

Li Jiang looked at his sister and he couldn't believe that she had gone through all that because of that man. He stood then walked to where she was and gave her a hug thinking that she was crying because she had recalled those painful memories. "It's going to be alright. I will make sure that he pays for what he did even if it's the last thing I do," he said comforting her.

Li Bao on the other hand was finding it hard to breathe after learning of such things. "My...my pills," he said with ragged breath and it caught the attention of all of them. "Go to the bedside drawers and get his pills!" Li Mei instructed as she held his chest.

Running upstairs, Li Fei went to their bedroom and pulled out the drawers hurriedly until she got the bottle of pills.

Running back, she gave him the pills and he took them then drank a glassful of water. After five minutes, his breathing started stabilizing and Li Mei asked," Are you fine? Should we call the doctor?" He slowly shook his head and said," I'm fine now. How come I didn't know that my daughter went through all that? Why didn't you tell me Li Mei?" Li Fei intervened to say," Dad, I think we should stop talking about that. Let's take you to rest."

"I'm not going anywhere until I know everything. Tell me, Li Fei, is that all true?" he asked looking at her. "Uhm...yes but it's not him who ordered them-" "I don't know why you seem to be defending that devil Li Fei! Your father is in this condition because of that man! He got high blood pressure because he was overwhelmed with everything that was happening! Li Fei felt her whole world crumbling down at this point. They knew everything. Absolutely everything. "Li Fei! Is it true that he kidnapped you?" asked Li Jiang. "Yes but he finally let me go," she said. "What did he do to you when he took you to his house?" asked Li Bao.

"Nothing," she said. "You're definitely lying to us. He must have mistreated you or even took advantage of you," said her mother.

"The honest truth is, it was him who gave you back the company and the house. It wasn't me," she revealed. "Why didn't you tell us? He did it because of the guilt that overwhelmed him. We don't want his pity," said Li Mei. "Mother, I think father should have some rest," suggested Li Jiang on seeing that he wasn't doing fine. Li Mei stood up and with the help of Li Jiang, they supported him to the bedroom.

The moment Li Fei reached her room, she leaned against the wall and sat down. She folded her knees and brought them to her chest then she started crying. She knew that in the eyes of her parents, the two of them didn't stand a chance. She couldn't blame them though. Infact, she didn't blame anyone.

She just loved Jin Liwei so much that she could no longer live without him. Was it her fault? She didn't ask for it either, it just happened.

As she was still sobbing, she heard a knock on her door and she wiped her tears before making way to it. "May I?" asked Li Jiang and she allowed him to enter.

"I'm so sorry Li Fei. I had no idea that you went through all that," he said the moment he took his seat. "It's okay," she said, her voice hoarse from all the crying. "I'm going to make him pay for everything," he declared.

"No don't. I want to put all that behind me," she said.

"Unfortunately I can't. As soon as I take over the company, I'm going to start my revenge," he said. Taking a deep breath, she said," Look, Jiang. He must have had his reasons for doing that. Maybe that was the only thing that kept him going."

"I can't believe you're siding with him again," he said before leaving her room.

She clutched her hair in frustration and that instant, her phone started ringing.

She immediately went to check and saw that it was none other than Jin Liwei. "Hello?" she picked up. "How are you? You don't seem to be fine," he said. "I...I saw you on television. Are things that complicated that side?" she asked. "Yes but don't worry, I will deal with them. Is it why you're sad?" he asked. "Yes," she said using it as an excuse. "Everything is going to be fine. Trust me," he said. "Of course I do. I have complete faith in you," she stated.
