One kiss after another…

He was surprised, but he wasn't going to waste the moment asking questions, even though something was missing…

“Samuel…” Anabela distanced herself agitated. “I want us to reach something more than friendship.”

He was petrified. Was he dreaming?

“Of course! You know you're special to me, and that's what I want most of all.”

A kiss sealed the beginning of their relationship.

In the meantime, Jacqueline tossed and turned in bed. She felt silly, she didn't understand that anger, that pain.

“He was just sex," she repeated to herself for the third time. "He made his decision, it's his loss.” She tried to convince herself, although the feeling of sadness and impotence was stronger. Why did she feel used?

Sam turned back in a hurry, pulled Arthur roughly, and looked at him nervously.

“I want to leave!” Both her voice and her body trembled. He watched her with concern, as her behavior was the same as when she had a crisis.
