The Vast Skyline

(I spent a lot of time creating this world so here's what it's like)

The land was destroyed by humanity and was recreated three times before humanity realized they could not be trusted so a majority of the population was killed off leaving two billion to settle in one of the seven sky cities powered by the type of energy from the core itself, which destroyed the world the last two times, and is supplied primarily by energy Corp which runs everything after the sky cities rose. The cities use magnetic pulses to move vehicles ships and even the cities themselves when needed. The people are given a chip which gives them a video game like interphase to help run their daily lives when they turn 5 years old. Their is no dump as waste is incinerated and pollution is sent directly out of the atmospheres created by the sky cities. The ground world has yet to be explored in the last 600 years but hunters, fugitives, explorers, energy Corp workers are constantly discovering new things that shouldn't be possible
