What happened that night,

Arriving at Trivedi mansion Mr and Mrs Iyer called out Kailashnath, but there was no response, but as they continued they found Madhuri Trivedi opening the gate.

They entered the mansion in hurry and commanded her to call Kailashnath.

"Vijay Iyer you are a professor aren't you then how did you forget the way to address people who are higher in status"

"Miss Madhuri, if you were still expecting us to be respectful after whatever your nephew did to our daughter, then I can only say that you are a fool, and I am not interested in talking to fools, call Mr. Kailashnath where is he? Is he hiding from the situation? Did he forget his promise? He promised to be on my daughter's side in any situation, then where was he when his son was busy tarnishing our reputation my daughter's reputation?"

Vijay called Madhuri a fool, a low class guy called her a fool she was raged by his act, but Madhuri Trivedi was not someone who couldn't control her rage but not in this situation where she was clearly provoked, and also one thing was for sure anyone who insults her deserves a punishment then how could she let them leave just like that but not before taking a jab at their pitiful situation, so she said,

"Vijay I guess you didn't get Aarav's words right, so let me make it clear he declared that he isn't related to Arundhati and if he isn't then the Trivedi family isn't related so whatever happened has nothing to do with us, I think you get it now"

"Madhuri how can you say that the Trivedi family is not related to this, it was Mr. Kailashnath Trivedi who came to our doorstep and requested our daughter's hand in marriage for his son and...."

His words were cut short by Madhuri as she said, "You still don't seem to get it, fine then I also don't like repeating myself, Guards let out the dogs and make sure to get rid of the unnecessary pests present here"

Arundhati had enough of her lies, so she raised her head to a look at this bitch and said "Thanks for your concern, but I don't think I will need help from someone who can let dogs run wild on my parents"

Realizing that lie was caught Madhuri tried to cover it up and said "Arundathi you are mistaken it was Aarav who asked me to do that, and you know he is the heir of this family so how could I, a mere daughter of this family go against his orders"

Arundhati's eyes narrowed at this point, and she said not minding conceding her disgust for the person standing "Auntie I don't know many things about Aarav, but I can say one thing for sure he would never involve others in our matters whatever he did was always related to me and only me, never did he involve my parents in it, and after he was done with me, he forgot about me as if I never existed and such person would never do that thing if it was for him, he would just let them stay there for the whole night just to see me suffer a bit more" she really didn't understand why this woman was blaming her nephew for a thing he never did it was not like she and Aarav were on good terms anyways.

"Arundhati you this is a misunderstanding.."

Madhuri thought of playing tricks, but before she could a voice interrupted her

"What's the misunderstanding"

Both Arundhati and Madhuri were surprised to hear that voice and turned their head to see the entrance.

Entering the kitchen with his usual smile Aarav said,

"Aunt why are you so surprised? It's as if you had seen a ghost"

Madhuri gulped hard fearing he might have heard her words, she didn't even want to imagine the consequences if he did so shaking her head as if to remove all those thoughts she said

"Aarav why are you here?"

She diverted the topic and this action proved Arundhati's guess right, although she didn't say it out loud she enjoyed seeing this woman sweating, but a smirk formed on her lips giving away her true feelings.

This action of hers didn't go unnoticed by Aarav, and he congratulated himself for not being late, but pretending not to see anything he continued talking to his aunt

"Common aunt why can't I be here, is your memory weak it's my home remember?"

"Not that Aarav I was just a little surprised I saw you leaving early and thought you wouldn't be attending the lunch that's why I asked that question"

"Right I did leave, and I was just a few minutes away from my destination, but I suddenly remembered something important, and came back"

"Oh, forgetting things it doesn't sound like the Aarav I know and even if you did forget something there was no need for you to personally come, I mean you could have sent someone in your stead"

"My dearest aunt had I forgotten things like documents or files I wouldn't have minded but the thing I needed to get requires me personally"

"What is it? What made Aarav Trivedi rush back home?, is it your new wife?"
