The Fun Begins

The fall of the doors could be seen from the entire city. Commoners and Defenders of the city witnessed how the city's doors were breached and heard the joyful roars of the monster.

Everybody understood what had happened.

The defenders had failed.

Moo, one of the members of the Dupe group, was not the exception. As soon as he saw the doors fall, he knew that thousands of monsters were about to invade the city and massacre the commoners.

His first reaction was to hurry towards the doors. He wanted to kill as many monsters as possible so that more people could survive this disaster.

But when he was about to hurry towards the city lord, someone called out to his friend Marcel.

"Basically!"

Basically turned around and was surprised. The two looked back and saw the simp-... I mean Karen rushing towards them followed by two guards.

"Miss Karen, what are you doing here?" Basically asked suspiciously.

Karen stood before him and panted briefly before speaking. "B-Basically, it's your friend Delirious. H-He is in danger!"

Moo raised a brow, "Delirious? Are you sure?"

"Y-Yes! H-He was kidnapped by the black-dressed men!"

"Damn it, hope their skins aren't also black." Basically said before he closed his eyes for an instant before opening them. Then, he stared straight into Karen's eyes deeply. "Are you sure Delirious is in danger?"

"Y-Yes!" Karen replied after stuttering slightly.

"How do you know?" Moo then questioned her as well.

Karen was stumped. However, she did not take long to answer.

"O-One of dad's men was nearby when it happened! H-He had seen Delirious before in the mansion, so he told me about it! I-I hurried here as soon as I learned about the situation!

Moo wrinkled his brows. He looked at Marcel again as though finally answering his opinion and he nodded.

Thus, the two turned to Karen.

"Take us there."

Karen's expression turned complicated for an instant before she nodded.

However, that did not escape Marcel's sight before he sighed.

"Damn, I thought you were a good girl, but... even you, huh." Marcel muttered softly.

Karen raised her head, "Huh? Did you say something?"

"Of course, his talking about Delirious was okay!" Moo interjects.

Karen tilted her head. For some reason, she felt as though something bad was about to happen. However, she had already made her choice.

Karen led Basically, Moo and Xavier to a deserted part of the city. Even though the two knew that Delirious was supposed to be in the city walls, none of them said anything. They just simply followed silently behind Karen.

Finally, when she arrived at an alley, Karen stopped.

"Marcel, I'm sorry."

"Stop, little lady! Don't apologize, I don't want to hear it."

Karen bit her lips. She wanted to say something to excuse herself, but she did not know what to say.

In the end, she could only look down and grab the hem of her dress.

"Don't worry. Brother promised me that he will not hurt you."

"Yeah? I must make sure to thank him later then." Basically said as he smiled mockingly.

Karen heard the sarcasm in Marcel's words; however, she did not know what to say. For some reason, though, her heart felt very painful.

At some point, the alley where they were had been surrounded by a group of black-dressed men.

Moo and Basically looked at them with no reaction, not even a bit worried. The pair had already checked their strengths, and almost none of them were at the level above the Intermediate Realm.

At that moment, a voice came from the other side of the alley.

"Karen, come here."

"Brother..." Karen's expression turned complicated. She wanted to say something, but when she saw her brother's severe expression, she nodded meekly and walked towards him after giving one last apologizing glance to Basically.

Basically on the other hand remained indifferent, though. He did not seem surprised due to Herald's presence or the men around him. Instead, it seemed as though he was already expecting this.

Herald frowned when he saw his and Moo's expression. However, when he looked at the people around him, his confidence came back.

"I'm sorry about meeting you this way, guys. However, I don't have any more options..."

Before he speaks more, Brock interrupts him as he shakes his head. 

"Hold the phone. None of us don't want to hear your hypocrisy, Herald. Just speak quickly and don't waste our time."

Herald's expression darkened. A trace of anger appeared on his face, but he quickly took a deep breath and calmed down.

"Then I will not be polite. I hope you can give me your friend's sword.

"Oh? You mean this?" Basically lifted his Netherite sword calmly and showed it to Herald. "I'm sorry, but this is my weapon. My weapon only. If you want my weapon, let me give you an answer...

...fuck off."

Herald took a deep breath and sighed, "It looks like you don't understand your situation. We have Mr. Delirious in our hands. If you don't give me the damn sword, we won't hesitate to kill him!"

Silence.

The only sound in the scene was just silence.

Before the two immediately laugh.

""Hahahahahaha!!""

They laugh and wheeze so hard that it nearly kills them.

As they stopped laughing, they all stared at Herald as though he was a fool. Both Moo and Basically curved their lips in mocking expressions.

"I see, then kill him." Basically said calmly.

Herald was startled, but when he saw the two's expressions, he understood.

"So you know, huh."

"Of course, you dumbass, we already knew." Basically replied as he and Moo just continued looking at Herald mockingly.

Yes, since the start, they knew that Delirious was completely alright.

A group of idiots, but that doesn't mean they are full of idiots. Quite the opposite, they were pretty smart. Basically and Moo, they are one of the smartest ones in the group. Normally, all of their thoughts were already one or two steps ahead of the situation.

Then, how could the people like them not to think about their friend's safety when they knew the Count was plotting against them?

The people in this world did not know it, but the whole Team 6 has Minecraft Systems in them, like inventory, Minecraft logic and stuff, except for the log out, and command the world, and going creative mode though.

Furthermore, they can message each other indirectly, even without using their smartphones.

Even if Delirious was in danger, he could just message them.

And as for what happens if Delirious died, well, it will show words of Delirious just died in front of their view, which would be very tragic.

Fortunately, Moo also gave Delirious Karen's necklace that he stole; if there is some danger about killing him, the necklace will automatically activate and protect him.

That was the reason why they were not worried about Delirious and did not insist when he said he wanted to leave. The two were confident that nothing was going to happen to him, and even if something happened, they would have enough time to react.

So, the first thing Basically did when Karen told him that someone had kidnapped Delirious was to message him. And according to Delirious' reply, he was currently following Gracie but he was still not in danger.

Moreover, Brock indicated that the protective necklace had not been activated; thus, Delirious' life had not been threatened. Knowing Delirious' personality well, the two could not think of a way they could kidnap Delirious without meeting these requirements.

Basically recalled the time when he viewed Delirious in this world. He's already changed. He was fighting while having so much fun and not taking this matter seriously even when death was before him. Delirious was that kind of man now.

The kind that would fight until the end even if he did not have a chance of victory. How could he allow himself to be kidnapped without a fight?

In other words, Herald's plot was destined to be useless. Even if Gracie did not take Delirious away, Herald would have been unable to kidnap him and instead would have told Basically and Moo about his intentions.

Of course, neither Herald nor Gracie knew it. In the end, Gracie's special ability was still inactive, so the things she could see were rather limited. The fact that she managed to piece together as many pieces of the puzzle was already amazing.

Basically and Moo looked at Herald with a mocking gaze. It was as though they were looking at a fool that overestimated himself.

Herald's expression fell. Unconsciously, he took a step back. However, he was the son of the Count of the Arcavdol family. He quickly managed to get a grasp of his emotions.

Taking a deep breath, he opened his mouth. "I don't understand. If you already knew, why did you come?"

Basically shrugged and a bit of killing intent leaked from his eyes, "Of course, to see what your father and you were planning this time. Besides, I thought this was a good opportunity to take care of you. If you are killed now, most people will suspect the beast wave instead of nobodies like us. Such a shame your father is not here, otherwise, our work would have been easier. Well, now that we have come this far, me and my friends will have to find a way to kill him so as to avoid future problems."

Herald paled. Not only him, but even Karen who was behind him turned ghastly white. A feeling of fear and horror was born in their hearts. The fact that Marcel spoke of killing them so lightly was chilling.

Plus...

"You... You knew since the start?" Herald asked.

Hearing that, Moo snorted, "Do you think we are fools? We knew the whole time! Your greed could not be more obvious. We simply played along because of a certain reason. Otherwise, we would not have minded ordering Xavier to kill your entire family long ago."

Mentioning abou Xavier, the Iron Golem did not bother to disguise its killing intent. It let it loose completely, drenching the two siblings and the black-dressed men around them.

The killing intent of a Rank 6 was overwhelming. It was as though the air itself was frozen, making its enemies unable to move.

(A/n: Wondering how an Iron Golem like Xavier became so strong? Quite simply, I made Xavier a very special Iron Golem. I ain't saying more because it will spoil you)

"I wonder." Basically narrowed his eyes while looking around, inspecting the people around him, "I can't feel anyone stronger than Rank 5 here. Are you planning to use that rapper Riffraff's lil' bitches to take care of us?"

Herald's expression turned unsightly. He could feel the disregard Moo and Basically had towards them. Since the start, neither the two had treated the Arcavdol family as something of concern.

However, he was going to make them regret it.

With a voice of anger, he pointed his finger to them.  "Attack these hooligans!"

Instantly, the black-dressed men moved. Tens of black-dressed men attacked the pair simultaneously, moving like a surging wave of blades.

Marcel, Brock, and even Xavier took out a bottle mix with enhanced potions(Leap, Strength, Swiftness, etc.), they cheered and gulped the entire thing.

"Ohhhh yeah! Let's dance!!"

After drinking the potions, Basically took out his netherite sword grinning. Two enchanted Diamond Swords appeared on his hands, both of their weapons glow with mass of magic power.

Moo opened his eyes and stepped forward energetically. His body then moved at a blur, moving through the coming wave of people and cutting the coming black wave into two while leaving afterimages of himself.

Basically spurted out instantly. His blade gutted the stomachs of the approaching enemies. At the same time, his body moved skillfully, avoiding the coming blades by a hairbreadth and dancing between the enemies like a graceful swan.

And as for Xavier, compared to Marcel and Brock, Xavier is far worse, the golem faced fifty black dressed men at the same time because of how strong Xavier is, they knew they had to use their strongest combatants.

But it was still useless as Xavier, using its bare arms, crushed and massacred most of them.

Regardless of rank, the black-dressed men were unable to take even one blow of Xavier. Even one black dressed man at the Master Realm was killed instantly.

Now that Xavier had power up to the peak stage of the Realm, only this time thanks to the potion it drank, nobody below the Grandmaster realm could even dream of resisting him.

The scene was incredibly bloody, making Karen vomit and Herald pale. The three, however, remained unaffected. For them, blood was something they had gotten used to for the past week which is kinda unrealistic even for them.

At that moment, though, Moo realized something unusual.

Herald was calm. Too calm for someone in his situation.

Then, he noticed something.

"Marcel, Xavier, watch out!"

But it was too late.

A glow appeared below Xavier's feet. The magic circle expanded quickly, covering him in an instant.

Basically quickly found the source of the spell and killed a black-dressed man with a gun, but it was useless. The spell had been activated using a scroll, and unless they could destroy the magic circle, it was unstoppable.

However, Xavier's strength was enough to destroy the magic circle, but it was interrupted by Moo which he made a darn mistake.

Before it would destroy the spell, Moo uses all of his strength to push the golem out of it. And in an instant, he took out two enchanted shields to block an incoming magic attack.

Normally, that would have worked. But this... isn't a magic attack.

"Brock, you fucking idiot! It's a teleportation spell!" Basically's words came an instant too late.

In a flash of light, the magic circle lit up brightly and swallowed Moo.

And then, Moo disappeared from the alley.

Basically was stunned. The change was so sudden that he was unable to react in time. But at that moment, his eyes detected something.

Basically hurriedly jumped aside. Almost simultaneously, numerous daggers appeared in the place where he was just one moment ago.

*Swing!*

With a sharp sound, the daggers cut through the wind, all barely missing him.

Basically looked at the source with an annoyed look, "Fucking seriously, Stella?"

The silver-haired maid frowned. She stared at Marcel with a bit of surprise as though she could not believe he managed to avoid her attack. Then, she disappeared again.

Herald laughed at that moment. "You were not expecting this, right Mr. Cunningham? Father asked for a favor from the Legendary Realm experts in this city to get this teleportation scroll! Well, teleporting the golem is a failure but teleporting your friend out of here still counts as a success. I'm sure that Mr. Barrus must be enjoying being in the middle of the magic beasts now! Not sure exactly but it is a possibility. Of course, you are not in a position to worry about him! Unfortunately, father cannot leave the defensive line with a bunch of A-rank monsters nearby, or he would have loved to see your expression of despair!"

Karen's face turned pale. "Brother! You tell me that-"

"Shut the fuck up, Sister! I was lying for gods sake, okay? Father will never allow such dangerous enemies to continue living! Guards, take my sister away!"

Karen's guards nodded and grabbed her shoulders. "Let's go, young miss..."

Karen was stunned. Aware that she could not resist, her face turned pale and she looked at Marcel with tears in her eyes.

But contrary to her expectations, Marcel did not seem worried.

Instead, he was looking at Herald with interest.

"Good move, Herald. Mm, I'll take this as a lesson to never underestimate my enemies. Fortunately, the number of enemies is still manageable or I would have been in trouble... Now, why don't we fight a bit more seriously."

As soon as his words ended, he started to press something in mid-air, which made the people around him confused about what he was doing.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Marcel was currently choosing a weapon in his inventory slots, picking one of his trump cards.

Then, a very large chaingun appeared in Marcel's hand.

"You already showed me your little small card. Now let's see if I manage to show my long and hard one!"

Saying this, Marcel activates it in Mobile Turret Mode. At the same time, Xavier immediately wore Netherite Armor and an oversized Netherite sword.

"This... is where the fun begins."

"Ouch, what happened?"

By the time Brock saves Xavier from the magic circle, it hits him instead.

He expects it to be some magic attack but it seems to be a teleportation spell.

He stood up, looked around his surroundings, he appeared to be in the middle of the forest and he didn't know where he was exactly.

"Damn it, that bastard. Once I get back, I swear I will-"

Suddenly, he spotted three large monsters, two large gorillas, about the size of King Kong and one large dog-like monster with long black fur, red eyes, and yellow stripes around its body.

"What the?"

*Snap!*

When his senses felt a sudden danger came from these creatures, he started to step back but his luck sucked when he stepped on a twig.
