Theodore, Alistair and Elena made their way to the princess bed chambers with Darrin leading the way. 

"Won't your mother be shocked?" Elena asked Theodore. 

"Not really, I already spoke with her yesterday at the party," Theodore replied. 

Darrin stopped in front of a door and opened and went inside. The rest followed him and went inside the room. 

"Darrin, are you back from the tour so soon?" Darla asked when she saw him enter the room. 

Her voice trailed off when she saw the rest enter the room. 

"Theodore, what is going on?" she asked in confusion. 

Alistair turned to Darrin. "Sit still and don't move," he ordered. 

Darrin sat on a chair obediently. 

"What is wrong with Darrin?" the princess asked in concern. 

"Nothing is wrong with him. He is just obeying my commands" Alistair told her. 

The princess looked at him thoughtfully. "You are a vampire," she said. 

"Guilty as charged," Alistair told her.
