30 TIME TO BURY THE HATCHET

Friday night, the girls waited for each other in the study hall right after their classes. The message instructions said that the initiation would start an hour after the last evening class. They are at least happy that they don't need to be kidnapped this time just to join the initiation, and they had at least known beforehand.

They had prepared themself such as extra items of clothing and protein bars. Since they didn't know what kind of challenge they will be facing this time, they agreed to be prepared this time.

The only thing that the group is not quite prepared for yet was the absence of one of them, Yden. Since the day of that little incident with her and Dennise, none of them had seen her around the campus.

None of them knew about her whereabouts, and they don't have any idea what department she belongs to since they don't know her course as well, especially her schedules.

Sitting, waiting around the large table in the study hall, the four girls couldn't help but talk about Yden since it was only her that wasn't there yet. They will still try to wait for her and assume that she had also got the messages that the initiators had sent them.

Right after the night of the party, Zara, Ella and Yden were left behind. The three of them got a small deal that the next time they needed to be in the sorority house, they should go there together, and since they are from different classes, they just have to meet each other in the study hall.

"Can we just wait a little bit longer, please?" With her hands flat together in her chin, Ella begged the rest of the girls to give Yden a chance.

"I don't want to be rude, although I don't deny that I don't trust that much about Yden. I am not saying this, just because we had a little misunderstanding at that time. I admit I am not pleased with what she did. However, after Leira had cleared things up for me, I actually began to understand. Yet, still, I'm feeling that she still has many secrets hiding in her Pandora's box. I was just hoping that those secrets aren't that destructive." Dennise commented with her twitched lips.

Leira simply shook her head, and she already accepted the fact that Dennise could actually be a girl with a mouth of blades. However, she does know that it could also probably be because of how she was treated at home. Since she obviously was a rich girl and a known personality, that would also be why she acted like a spoiled brat kid.

However, that was nothing for Leira. She was and always willing to accept whatever Dennise's personality could be.

"I know, Dennise, that we only knew Yden more recently than the rest of us, and we didn't get a chance to see her in school that much during our evening classes. So maybe, or let's just assume that she was studying in morning classes. Besides, for me, she was just actually a simple girl, meek and maybe some kind of introvert that she was actually not that comfortable around people," Ella tried to explain on Yden's side, even though she herself can't justify what she was saying. She just wanted to assume that Yden was someone that was more like her, someone who really needed them, who really needed to have a group of friends like them.

They have different personalities but have the most potential to succeed if they will be working together on a certain goal.

She actually got the biggest intuition for this group of friends.

"Ella could be right. Yden could have her own belief that she won't share with you. We are open to some liberated talks, like nights with boys, and it will be fine for us. Although if she actually chose to stay being pure and innocent, let's just let her be. Dennise, it doesn't mean that we must have the same lifestyle because we are friends, the same thing to like or the same everything. We can have a thing that connects us, but we should always remember that we have the individual personality that made each of us special," Zara had spoken out her thoughts. She may not want another jeopardy with Dennise again, for the sake of the group and especially after knowing that she was actually someone with an influential family. However, she was inspired by Ella, who unhesitatingly spoke what she believed was right.

Dennise didn't say anything to retaliate or even reason out. This is actually not her usual; instead, she was more into deep contemplation that would just let the girls leave the topic, thinking that maybe Dennise understood and took to consider their advice.

Leira took a last glimpse of her watch before she suggested for them to go.

The moment that they were about to stand up and head to the Sorority house Yden arrived. She was walking towards the girls.

"Yden!" Ella ran towards Yden happily. There's nothing more that can make her happy this time but the presence of all of them.

Zara and Leira followed to greet Yden, they all sad, missing one of them in this initiation. However, none of them was expecting to see Dennise approach Yden too.

They all just stood there staring at her in agape as she slowly ambled towards Yden.

Yden peeked over her lashes as she furrowed her brow seeing Dennise, advancing towards her. Slowly she raised her head.

Just a foot away from Yden, Dennise stopped. She moved her hand up a bit, but she pulled back, hesitated.

"Uhm, just to let you know, I don't actually do stuff like this. But being with you guys made me do things that I never thought I would do. I started to see how people see me and realized that not at all times when I believed I was right meant that I was actually right. I just realized that most of the time, I was not." Dennise wanted to hold Yden, but she still felt hesitant and embarrassed. So, pressing her two hands was all she could afford to do.

Yden felt the truthfulness of Dennise's words and actions, and she knew too that she had done the same. She hurt her physically, in fact.

For that reason, Yden stretched her lips to a smile and clasped Dennise for a hug.
