165 THE EMBARASSING TRY

Their meeting was finished before dinner time, and the girls left just before Denver arrived. Dennise had decided to prepare his brother a dinner, so she could borrow some of the hospital equipment that they needed for Zandro's fake death. That was if Zara and Zandro agreed. 

Even though she wasn't familiar with how to cook his brother's favorite, which was goat meat stew, she still tried to prepare it with the help of some youtube tutorials. Well, cooking with goat meat was usually a risky choice. 

She probably had to take risks for that, for the sake of her friend, which she too had to make up with. 

"Damn, this meat was still so firm. How can I make you tender?" Dennise whined as she tried to bite on the goat meat, and it stretched like rubber. She wiped her sweats with her arm and winced. 

While stocking back the meat to the pressure cooker, she accidentally shoved her hand on the side of the hot pan.
