The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride

"You are my salvation and an answer to my cursed eyes." ------ In a world of vampires, werewolves, and witches, a girl is born to be the bride of the vicious and bloodthirsty 300-year-old immortal Vampire Prince. The man who could never be enticed by any ethereal beauty till now suddenly has shown interest in a woman with a curse whom everyone abandoned. Alora Wilson, the eldest daughter of a high-noble human family, is born with the curse of an old powerful witch. It is the curse that burns the person into ashes if the person looks directly into her eyes. A curse that forces her to wear the blindfold since the moment she was born in this world. When the kids of her age enjoyed every small moment of their lives, she couldn't. No one loves to befriend her. Even her own father and siblings despise her. One day Magnus Lukeson, the Vampire Prince, enters her life– The man whom the entire kingdom is scared of. A man with only foes and no friends. A man who ventures his territory at night to take the fresh blood out of humans irrespective of the age or gender to quench his thirst. ~~~~~ The blindfold cascaded off Alora's eyes and her enchanted blue eyes met with Magnus' blood-red eyes. "You have enchanting eyes, Alora," Magnus pronounced. No one ever said that to her. But no one could look into her eyes either. Only Magnus was the exception. The reason was still unknown to her. "Shall we begin the night?" Magnus asked for her permission. "Will His Highness give me love?" Alora asked. She was desperate to be loved. The feeling she could never get from her family and only heard in the words. "And how am I supposed to provide love to you?" Magnus queried since he was curious to know her thoughts. "Holding hands, hugging each other, sleeping together, and sharing thoughts. Isn't that how you shower love?" Alora innocently asked. Magnus ended up smiling to hear her explanation of love. He leaned down and kissed her lips, causing her to shiver from that sudden feeling. "This is the way I shower love," Magnus pronounced, gazing into Alora's charming blue eyes. ~~~~~ This story has participated in WSA 2024. Your votes, comments and gifts will mean a lot to me. I intend to marry Alora Wilson

Alora looked at all of them for the very first time. Her eyes stopped at Venus, who was in the wedding gown and looked very beautiful. Alora realized why many nobles were interested in marrying Venus. Just because of Alora, the proposals would not come.

Magnus stepped up again and asked Tobias to give the scroll to him, which Norman had sent as a message to Alora.

Tobias was quick to comply with the order and handed the respective scroll to Magnus. Once the prince grabbed it, he walked to Norman and hit his head with it.

"You sent a message to Alora knowing the fact that she cannot read. You truly don't care whether your daughter lives or dies. Am I right?" Magnus taunted him. Alora intervened and requested him not to treat her father in such a way.

"You don't even know how I treat humans. It's the most decent way I'm treating your father," Magnus stated.

Alora's sharp glare made him step back and he rested on the sofa. "Sit," he asked Alora, gesturing to her. She wanted her family to sit down too.

"Let them stand for some time," Magnus said and extended his hand to grab her wrist. He drew her close and made her sit beside him.

Rhea quickly instructed a servant to serve water to Alora. She then asked Alora if she was fine. "We got the message from Prince Magnus about the attack. You didn't get hurt anywhere, did you?" Rhea's tone seemed worried.

"Nothing happened to me, Mother," Alora answered.

"Well, your daughter could have been dead if I hadn't happened to cross through that path," Magnus pronounced. Alora decided to wear the blindfold when Magnus held her hand, thus stopping her from doing so.

"I am grateful for His Highness's benevolent help to my daughter," Rhea expressed her gratitude. Madam Aubrey too thanked the Prince as she felt it was the right time to lessen his anger toward her.

"Norman, why did you go to my father, the King? You felt that I would stay quiet and do nothing," Magnus said and arched his brow at him.

"According to the rules, the vampires aren't allowed to intervene in the matters of the humans. My second daughter's marriage is near and I couldn't come to Elmswood. That's why I had to go to the palace. I apologize for my mistake," Norman explained while asking for forgiveness.

"I have no intention to forgive you," Magnus said.

The servant served the water to Alora, who kept her eyes down and thanked her. While drinking the water, she heard Magnus's words directed at her father.

"I know I've made a mistake and I'm ready to rectify it," Norman then stated.

"Norman, you are alive because I cannot hurt Alora," Magnus cleared him. Alora's father pursed his lips together as he was now terrified.

Alora put the water glass on the table and leaned back on the sofa. She whispered to Magnus, "Your Highness, I think we should leave."

She held the edge of his long coat's sleeve, urging him to take her away.

Magnus realized it was time to ask for what he decided to leave Elmswood.

"Norman Wilson, I want your eldest daughter's hand in marriage," Magnus pronounced.

Everyone in the living room left astonished. Alora looked straight at his face, wondering if she heard him right.

"I am kind of fancied by your daughter," Magnus continued and turned his head to look into Alora's eyes. "Her eyes are something, which made me fall for her. I intend to marry Alora Wilson and make her my wife," he stated, causing Alora to stop blinking.

"Mrs. Wilson, what do you think of my proposal?" Magnus asked Alora's mother, who was still in shock. "You have such a precious gem in your house. I will keep her like a princess," he stated.

Venus could not help but feel a tinge of jealousy. She couldn't fathom how Alora made a place in Magnus's heart. Most importantly, how could he even look at her?

"Pardon me for intruding like this," Venus said, "but my sister is cursed. The Prince will surely get better proposals than my sister." She didn't refrain from humiliating Alora.

"Apologize to Alora," Magnus said with a stern tone as he directed his sharp gaze at her.

Venus got confused when Madam Aubrey apologized to Alora on Venus's behalf.

"Did you not hear me? Apologize to Alora. If you won't, I will make sure no one ever marries you," Magnus warned Venus this time. "Get on your knees and apologize to my Alora," he affirmed.

Venus gulped and she apologized to Magnus for making him angry. "I'm in my wedding gown, so I cannot–" she couldn't complete her sentence as Magnus's voice roared.

"Get on your knees," Magnus pronounced. "Whoever calls her a curse, I'll make sure to kill that person. So, better watch your tongue before saying anything to the woman I cherish," Magnus clarified to all of them.

Alora couldn't believe her ears. The person, who fell for her was the Vampire Prince, Magnus. He wanted her to be his wife, and the thought of it surged happiness within her.

Venus got on her knees and apologized to Alora.

"Do you forgive your sister?" Magnus asked as he met Alora's eyes, which were intently staring at him.

Promptly, Alora got out of her thoughts. "Yes, I do," she said.

Norman, Rhea, and Madam Aubrey were stunned to see this sight. A vampire was taking a stand for Alora. Rhea knew this was the man, who would never let her daughter fall into danger. He would burn the world for Alora.

"I'm ready to give Alora's hand to Prince Magnus," Rhea said with a smile and took a step forward. "Alora, do you wish to marry the Prince?" Despite that, she once asked for Alora's choice.

"You cannot leave me. You promised me last night," Magnus reminded her by whispering in Alora's ear.

Rhea fiddled with her fingers, hoping for a positive response from Alora. She truly wanted her daughter to live a happy life and she could sense it would be with Magnus only.

"Yes. I would love to marry His Highness Prince Magnus," Alora said with a tiny smile on her lips while gazing into his eyes.
