The small wooden door creaked open, revealing a familiar, bearded figure—Alistar, the dwarf Elion had seen just a few hours earlier.
"Ah, there you are, kid. Took you long enough. Come on in," Alistar grumbled, motioning Elion inside before turning and heading back to settle himself into a sturdy wooden chair.
Elion followed him and sat in silence on a wooden chair directly across from Alistar, waiting for his next instructions.
"Show me your katana again," Alistar said.
At his words, Elion offered a wry smile. "It broke during my last fight."
"Huh? So soon? I knew it would eventually break from the lightning energy you use, but that was much sooner than I expected," Alistar replied, furrowing his brow.
"Actually, it didn't break from the lightning. It was another spell," Elion explained.
