529. End of the Meeting
Jael sat with his back against the backrest of his seat as he stared at nothing in particular. He couldn't say how long the meeting has been going on but if he were asked, he would say too long.
So far all they have talked about was old matters that he already solved. The Lords and dwelling in the past.
The only worthwhile topic that has been brought up was the incident that occurred in both Lord Drusile's estate and Lady Francine's.
They had tried to discuss how to prevent this from happening again. They had come up with good solutions.
Someone had requested having a lookout and making sure the members of their estate who couldn't fight didn't wander.
Someone had also suggested fortifying their fences. Walls won't keep Palers out but it will certainly delay them.
