433. Red Looks Good On You
The meal went off without a hitch, Mostly. Except for the part where Jael seemed to have a scowl on his face occasionally.
There was drinking and a lot of conversations going on. The vampires didn't seem to mind that she was part of this.
Well, that was mostly because she kept her mouth shut so it was easy to ignore her. It wasn't hard to do as she was already used to not being part of the group conversation.
Sometimes she listened in, sometimes she listened to her thoughts. She also noticed the conversations were nothing too serious, nothing that could give her a clue about what was happening or what had happened while she was away.
She didn't think it was a problem, now that she was back she was sure she would be updated soon enough.
Mauve finished her meal but it didn't seem like the party was near its end as a servant brought another barrel of ale.
