Abnormal Strenght
Xander and his men stepped forward and didn't even flinch at seeing the men. Kiara knew her brother to be like this but she couldn't help but think that the two had met before. "Well, well, well, it looks like we get to meet again and so soon", The leader of the group said in a soft voice. "I'm not letting you get away with it this time", Xander replied back. This had confirmed Kiara's thought. They had actually met before. "Who's this chic you're trying to save anyway, is she your girlfriend?" One of the members of the group said with a mocking voice as the others laughed. This was the last straw for Xander. In less than a second he was already in front of the man who spoke last. He punched him square in the face and he was knocked out instantly. The others seeing this hesitated seeing what just happened.
The whole fight was like a blur as he took out the rest of them easily. Some tried to run but Xander was too fast for them to escape. When he finished off the last one, he turned to face his sister,"Get in your car and I'll lead you home".
When they got home, she had to face her parents. "What took you so long? We told you to get back home immediately after your concert,You made us worried", her mom said."I have a question of my own. How come there's a tracker in my car? mom, I'm old enough to take care of myself. I don't need anyone babysitting me".Kiara asked ignoring the first question. "I knew you will want to know the reason why there is a tracker in your car. We suggested it since you were starting your music career. We know that you aren't as strong as your brother so we had to keep an eye on you always. We are all vampires but you are still young and naive." Her mom replied. Kiara couldn't believe that they were doubting her strenght like this. "Why didn't you guys tell me then?" she asked all of them but they just stared at her blankly and replied, "We're sorry Kiara", Xander said as the guilt came over him. "I'll be in my room," Kiara said as she went back to her room.
She laid on her bed and just stared at the ceiling,'so my family doesn't think I'm strong enough to take care of myself, even Xander', thinking of all this, tears rolled down her face. Suddenly a knock was heard on her door. "Come in", she said as she wiped her tears and looked to see who was at the door. "What do you want", she asked her brother who came over and sat next to her. "I'm really sorry about what mom and dad just said. I believe you can be stronger and I'm going to train you. You can be as strong as I am or even stronger". He said as he wiped away her tears."really? you think I can be stronger? how? I've tried training myself but nothing seems to work". said Kiara. "I'll just have to show you how then" Xander said as he stood up to leave. "Ever heard of our family ritual?", "No. what is that anyway?" Kiara asked "that, dear sister, is the solution to your problem", Xander said as he left the room and closed the door. "Family ritual huh? I wonder what it is exactly" Kiara said as she got ready for bed.
