Jeremy awoke from his dream-like state after having finished processing the memories, with his eyes closed and kept them that way. He allowed himself a few moments in order to get his body and mind time to acclimate to one another. He now had new information and knowledge about the world around him from a fairly, while not too old, old vampire, and with that knowledge, he was able to truly confirm that he was living in a world parallel to the show in terms of what was shown throughout the series, or at least the few seasons he watched and the stuff he looked up or read.

'Damon's personality and actions matched those shown. All the vampires that Enzo had met throughout his time followed the same theme of the show, with no sparkling bullshit or any of that nonsense that might indicate a crossover, and I am oh so grateful for that knowledge.'

He opened his eyes and welcomed the light that cascaded through the warehouse from the outside and immediately recognized that his sight had improved. Not by a lot, but enough for him to notice.

He took a quick inhale and followed that by focusing his hearing.

'So, each of my senses have heightened...makes sense.' He thought, immediately accepting the fact that he took not only memories from the immortals he slayed, but also a little something extra as well.

'That might actually be the true reason why my body healed itself completely. It wasn't that I had no other way to get myself in tip top shape, but that was simply the first method I tried. Which means, if I had used vampire blood, I probably would have been healed, and there's a possibility that I could have gained some extra strength, if the benefits of the quickening did not go into fixing up my body.'

As Jeremy let his thoughts flow, he took a look around himself.

'Enzo's body is now ash, most likely because all that he was, is now a part of me, which is how the quickening works. However, it seems that the blood that had already left his body is still around. That's something worth looking into.'

He looked over to where Logan laid still and still bleeding out, however was no longer conscious.

'It's likely I wasn't out for too long, considering he's still partially alive, though he won't be for long, considering how shallow his breaths are. It's too bad really, I hardly got anything out of him, other than the location of a few of his spots. Though, considering the fact that he has Enzo's blood still in his system, I'll pretty much get that information and so much more in a bit.'

He got up and dusted off his clothes and then took in the appearance of his blade, noting the fact that the weapon was clearly on its last legs and he would need to get another one, since that was the only one that Logan had on hand.

"Emily, how is that this shitty sword is already crapping out, even with the enchantment you put on it, wait never mind, I alrea..." He was about to continue, but was cut off instead by the ghost of a woman who appeared beside him.

"As you know from your reading, not every substance can properly hold an enchantment. You would need to acquire one of the metals or crystals that can conduct and hold magic in order to have a sword that is everlasting. The current one can only allow an increase in the sharpness of the blade, so that it can finely sever the head of a vampire from its body in one clean stroke."

He looked at Emily with a deadpanned expression, as she finished her mansplaining, and couldn't help but crack a barely imperceptible smirk at the proud look she was wearing just beneath her forever present expression. He knew how much she enjoyed getting to educate/brag about the subject for which she was so fond.

"Well, thank you for that, oh knowledgeable one. Now, first off, sorry for falling on your book," he said, as he took the grimoire from the back of his waistband. "And secondly ask the question that brought you out here in the first place. After all, I wouldn't have brought you along if I didn't want you to see." He told her, as he made his way over to Logan, who's breathing was getting shallower by the second.

Emily watched him, as he stepped to the one known as Logan Fell and pondered what she wanted to ask, as he lifted his leg and brought it down slowly onto the back of the neck of the dying man, before he pressed down quickly, snapping the neck.

She knew he was correct indeed in his assessment of why she appeared. After all, she had just seen something that she had never seen before, and if she hadn't been actually watching, she would not have believed what she saw.

"When you killed him, his body turned into lightening and..entered your own. Afterward, nothing of him remained. Not even his soul to go to the other side. He simply stopped existing. How did you do it?"

Jeremy nearly paused in his movement when he heard that.

'I see, I see. So that's how I gain not only the physical aspects, but the memories as well. The quickening allows me to, more than likely, absorb the entire being. It's like they're turned into a form of energy and all at once, that energy pours into me...but...if that's the case...is it only limited to vampires? If I were to go find something else considered "immortal" would it work on them as well and would I gain something from them? The questions are many and the possibilities are making my balls tight. I'm Getting HYPED! Fuck becoming a vampire! Fuck becoming a hunter! Fuck figuring out how to turn into a siphoner! Fuck going to meet Qetsiyah and seducing that ass to get her on my side...well, I might still do that. But, Fuck Dahlia and going to meet...Claudia Black is fine as hell. Fuck Freya?.....I really do want to fuck Freya. *Heavy sigh*'

Emily was once more simply watching Jeremy, as she waited for him to answer the question that he pretty much asked her to ask. However, she was getting more confused by the second, due to the fact that one moment he was simply examining the body of Logan Fell and running them pockets to see what's what, and the very next he was crouched down on the ground and making a circle with his finger in the dust.

She stood there for all of 5 seconds, before she watched as he once more seemed to change and was now just standing straight and doing that incredibly sexy smirk he does. The one that she would never admit really appealed to her.

'Hahahahaha Silas! I'm coming for that ass boy! Mikael! As soon as I feel comfortable with my foundation to piss off Esther and let myself be known, you're dust, bitch! Travelers, I don't really know much about you lot, since I pretty much dipped out around that time, but regardless, I feel like you bitches were immortal or had a way to be, therefore, that ass is mine. HERATICS! I'm going balls balls balls deep up in that thang! Prepare yourselves! But don't actually, because I would prefer to just sneak up behind you bitches and swipe right and be done with it...at least until I see how strong my body can get, and then! I'm swiping left on this entire fucking universe!'

Emily wondered just what Jeremy could be thinking about for his smirk to get sexier and sexier by the second, but whatever it was, she reasoned, simply based on what she had seen since observing him, that somebody was likely going to get fucked over.

She wasn't worried though. Not only did he not have magic that could affect her, but she was already on the other side.

'Didn't I read somewhere on the wiki that there's a way to pull people from the other side? Hmmm, thoughts for later, but if there is.......' And with those thoughts, Jeremy finally got around to answering Emily's question after keeping her waiting for 10 whole seconds.

"I didn't ask you to keep me shielded simply because I wanted the witches and whoever else on the other side to be unaware of my actions." Jeremy told her casually, as he locked eyes with her. The threat in his eyes, contrasting greatly with the relaxed manner in which he both spoke and stood, as the tingling sensation at the back of his neck began to give off a slight tickle.

"I made that deal with you, Emily, because not only am I planning on taking this entire world by the balls, simply so that I can be free to do what I want and go where I please in it without having to worry about somebody hurting the people I care about, but also because I have the strength and the advantages to do so. Now, there's still a while left before the end of our bet, so I won't ask you to join me, yet. However, when that time does come," he was now standing just a few feet from her, his eyes visibly softer than when he first started speaking. "I will ask you to take my hand and walk through this world with me, you beautiful perverted ghost. The question is, will you agree?" He started to turn back towards Logan Fell, as the tingling at the back of his neck became more and more prevalent, but before he fully turned, he stopped and looked at Emily once again. "Just know, that no matter what you choose, even if it's just to drift off peacefully to that eternal slumber that I will find a way to give you access to, you will always have a place by my side, if nothing more than for the simple reason that, Emily, you are the first friend I've made in this life, and that can never be forgotten."

With those words, he fully turned to Logan who, while still unconscious, was breathing once again, and swiped his blade through his neck. Welcoming the lightening strike once again with a smirk on his face.

'Yeah, I'm definitely hitting that.'

............

(A/N: He's talking about fucking Emily in that last line, in case that wasn't clear. Now, this is just my opinion, but he really is such a romantic.)
