Chapter 13: Childhood Memories.

The moonlight stood gazing in front of the two vampires on the cliff. Dark and mysterious were the words to describe the presence of the two. As mist and fog spread around them.

"Should we pay a visit to our little girl?"

"Indeed, we shall."

A few weeks passed as Xuri adjusted to her new life. She thought vampires as horrible living creatures through the night, lurking through the world, trying to conceive souls.

"Xuri?! Where the hell did you put my game boy!" Caleb furiously threw everything at the wall.

Xuri chuckled as she hid the game boy behind her back. Caleb has been addicted to his game, and not eating dinner.

"Looking for this?" Xuri held the game out in front of Caleb.

Caleb hesitated and charge at Xuri pinning her to the wall. Xuri's happy face slowly fell to a frighten one. Caleb sighed and let her go.

"That's what you get for hiding my game boy." Caleb chuckled.

Xuri sighed.

"But you looked so precious when you were frightened." Caleb winked then disappeared.

Xuri slowly walked to her room, replaying the frightening scenario over, with a few twists. Maybe, she shouldn't play too childish like that.

She opened her room door to the sweet smelling aroma of her. While she was looking at her vanity, taking her braids out, she felt as if eyes were watching her. Indeed they did had eyes watching.

"How do you even know this girl Carlos?" Arashi asked.

"I met her a long time ago, Arashi." Carlos lightly chuckled.

10 years ago.

Her sweet aroma around her made me uncontrollable. Her soft warm smile gave me warmness. The mere thought of her just made me feel I loved her.

"Excuse me, are you okay?" Xuri gather around Carlos.

"Leave me alone." As Carlos hugged his knees.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you, just tell me what's wrong." Xuri touched his arm.

Her hand...it was so warm and comfortable.

"I f-found out my mother left me for a man." Carlos clenched his fist.

"That's okay. My mom left me for a guy too!"

Carlos looked at her cheerful smile, as pink blush was on his cheeks.

"You can stay with me and my dad! We can take care of you!"

Carlos slowly got up and he wrapped his hands around Xuri.

Her warmness...is just so irresistible...

"W-wait, so you stayed with Xuri?" Arashi interrupted Carlos memory.

"No shit, you didn't I was going to get raised by wolves." Carlos joked.

"Anyways, I stayed with her father and her for a few years, then decided to leave."

"Wait, who was her father?" Arashi being confused.

"Well, he used to be a business man, but got exposed for his cons, so he became a priest." Carlos chuckled.

"How long are we going to keep watching her?" Arashi sighed.

"I don't want to take my eyes off her. Her beauty is significant. She's so perfect." Carlos blushed.

"Why don't you go meet her?" Arashi asked.

"Just a few more days Arashi, then I will make her mine, once and for all..."
