Trapped

Ariel didn't know the time she fell asleep on the soft bed but she was awakened by a strong presence in the room. She opened her eyes slowly and rubbed them "Ahh..when did I fall asleep?" She said stretching this time.

Ariel's eyes looked like it wanted to pop out of the sockets when she remembered something "Ariel you are so careless!! How will you just let yourself sleep when you just came into his house!!" She kept on scolding herself. Unbeknownst to her, a handsome Korean god was staring down at her and was watching her curse herself for being so careless.

Ariel finally got up from the bed and turned around and saw Jisoong looking at her. The look on his face was just so intimidating that Ariel didn't realize the moment she blurted these words out " He looks like a Tyrannosaurus Rex that's about to eat me"

"Tyrannosaurus Rex? Me?" Jisoong asked her raising an eyebrow.

"Ariel how could you say that out loud to your boss?" She thought before saying "Sh*t!! Did I say that out loud? I'm sorry it's just that your expression earlier reminded me of a T-Rex. But right now with the way you are staring at me reminds me of an Agama lizard. Those little reptiles stare alot like you are doing right now".

After Ariel realized what she just said, she inwardly "Ariel pull yourself together!. It's probably because you just woke up that's why you are blurting out nonsense to your boss." Silence reigned between the pair for a few seconds and Ariel told herself inwardly "Apologize you fool..". She laughed awkwardly as the apology got stuck in her throat due to the way he was staring into her soul.

Finally having the courage, she said "Uhmm..Ceo Jisoong, I'm sorry for my statement earlier". But the guy only continued staring down at her making Ariel burst into another fit of awkward laughter trying to break the ice in the atmosphere.

"We are not at the office Ariel. Don't be so formal" he said and walked out of the room and Ariel finally released the breath she was holding.

"Why would you blurt out those words to your boss?!! A T-Rex and An Agama lizard? Ariel you have really done yourself no good" she said slamming her forehead. "But wait...why was he here?" She asked herself.

Few minutes ago, Jisoong walked into the room and found Ariel sleeping so soundly. It was like she hadn't had a peaceful sleep in a long time. He initially came to the room to tell her some things about work but his end result were insults. He watched her sleep for a few seconds not expecting that she would wake up the moment she sensed his presence. As Jisoong walked down the stairs, Ariel's words rang in his head. Him? An Agama lizard? Not to mention the other thing she said... that he looked like T-Rex!! "Damn her pretty mouth" He said finally getting to the foot of the stairs.

"Did I just hear right? Who has a pretty mouth?" Xavier said as he sighted Jisoong with his eyes shining brightly at Jisoong. "Shut it Sung-woo" Jisoong said calling Xavier by his Korean name.

"You know the reason why I was born is to destroy you with my big mouth Jisoong" Xavier said smirking and Jisoong only rolled his eyes at him.

"Jin, please inform Ms. Ariel that she would be going on a business trip with me soon" Jisoong said to Jin and the man nodded.

About four minutes later, Ariel came back with Jin and she walked up to Jisoong. "Ceo Jisoong, I just wanted to confirm that you aren't bothered by what I said earlier. You know...I just woke up and I wasn't thinking straight so..I'm sorry" Ariel said as she bowed her head to him apologetically

"What did I tell you about being formal Ariel" Jisoong said and Ariel apologized again. "Well I wanted to tell you about the trip myself but I found you lost in the land of sleep and you shocked me even more with the words you said when you woke up" Jisoong said

"To be honest, I didn't plan on sleeping at all. I guess I was too stressed plus I apologise again for my choice of words" she said.

But she said the opposite to herself inwardly "I'm only apologizing because I don't want to loose my job. Face it, the resemblance between you and An Agama lizard is there. Especially in the way you stare at me with those captivating eyes of yours"

"Ariel you must be a real joke. You are cursing and praising him at the same time...but he's of no doubt the most handsome man I have ever seen.. I mean..look at those eyes, lips..I really wonder how they taste.." she said once again to herself.

"Ariel?" Jisoong said for the fourth time and Ariel finally heard.

"Yea...yea..yess?" She said smiling awkwardly

"I have been saying your name, didn't you hear?" Jisoong asked and she was caught off guard

"Ahhh... really..well..I was.." she muttered but was cut off by Jisoong

"I don't want an incompetent P.A Ariel. When I call.. Answer! When I need you...Come!. There's a reason I chose you Ariel so don't make me change my mind."

"But me not answering you quick earlier had nothing to do with work" Ariel said and Jisoong laughed showing his perfectly white teeth.

"It has something to do with it Ariel. Anyways our trip is in two days, make arrangements" Jisoong said he walked away.

"I interviewed for an assistant distributor not your personal assistant. How am I supposed to do this?!!" She said inwardly.

It was at that moment Ariel knew she was TRAPPED. Trapped with a creature she couldn't explain. All she knew was that Park Jisoong, the CEO of "X & Y Corporation" wasn't human.

She sighed as she decided to call Resa for help with the assignment Jisoong gave her.
