Wait, won't you have breakfast before you go to the office. Kiara said looking at Damien. She had been looking forward to having breakfast with him despite their awkward situation yesterday. She really enjoyed his company .

Miss you don't have to worry sir doesn't really love eating food. Charlie said and when he turned to look at Damien he was glaring at him as if saying. ' Did she ask you'. He felt shivers running through his spine.

Kiara, am not hungry and l will eat at the office. You eat breakfast first okay.

Noo, that's what my father used to say before going for work but he would forget about eating any food . She suddenly remembered how her father used to tell her mother that he would eat at work but he would completely forget and only eat at lunchtime. She really missed her father and mother . Tears threatened to spill out of her eyes but she just turned around and said. Okay you can eat at the office don't forget. She couldn't let him see her tears.

Charlie pitied her , such a fragile thing wanting to cry because his boss refused to eat breakfast. He didn't know about her parents death but Damien knew.

He just sighed. Is she thinking about her parents now. He didn't want her to be upset about the past after watching her yesterday. He realized she was very fragile as glass. He just handed the files in his hands to Charlie.

He strode to the dining table where she was sitting. He sat next to her and saw her tears rolling down her cheeks.

It was too late for her to wipe her tears since Damien was already sitting in the chair next to her. She just lowered her head .

Nothing she tried to wipe her eyes but Damien beat her at it. He wiped her tears lovingly. The maids near them just lowered their heads like they never saw anything in the room .

Is it about your parent's death. Is that why you are crying.

Kiara just noded and more tears came down her cheeks . Her mother passed on when she was ten years old mysteriously without knowing who killed her . That day she cried for the whole night and fainted in the morning due to loss of energy.

It's fine Kiara you don't have to cry. It's in the past am sure they wouldn't like seeing you cry for them. Damien pulled her to his chest to comfort her . His one hand was rubbing her hair lovingly and the other was caressing her cheeks to stop her from crying

That was the scene that welcomed Charlie when he entered the room . He secretly took a picture of his boss embracing a woman and left the room with smiles on his lips. He always wanted Damien to get a companion and now he hoped Miss Kiara would be the one for Damien.

Damien continued comforting Kiara. It's fine okay , he offered her a glass of water.

She got away from his embrace and took the glass of water from him. She was so embarrassed about crying for such a simple issue of him not eating breakfast.

Damien watched her drink the water and her face was pale form crying. Those beautiful green eyes were now full of tears. He picked a tissue like a gentleman and began helping her clean the tears and her nose.

Am sorry...l ..wasted your time for work she said looking at the floor and for crying like a child.

I don't mind you being a child then l will comfort you. Damien said looking at her.

Kiara raised her head and met his grey orbs.

He was so Caring towards her yet she was a stranger to him.

Are you okay now he tucked her stray hair behind her ears.. That simple geature sent warmth to her heart.

Damien was now happy because she was now happy and smiling.

Okay don't cry again l will eat breakfast with you everyday.

They ate in silence but since Damien had work to do he left after a few bites.

She was happy at least someone cares about her.
