CHAPTER 7 Terri?

　　Mother glared at Cecilia as she talked back. This woman was going to make her kill her before her new owner picked her up. How dare she talk back to her! However, Cecilia made a good point. Their antics had customers reaching out to her to buy Cecilia and Terri as well as other pets that were back at the shop.

　　"That’s not the point, you stupid girl. You are going to learn that you need to look out for yourself and only yourself," Mother explained. "If it had been the other way around, Terri would not have saved you; she's a coward."

　　"I don’t believe you," Cecilia responded.

　　"Her family didn’t believe her either," Mother said, "Heed my words, girl. You had it made at my shop, but your owner will not take disobedience lightly. You’ll end up dead just like Alex if you keep thinking you are so smart."
