CHAPTER 66 What's The Game Plan?
Something wasn't right.
Jared couldn't shake the feeling that he was losing control of the situation. He finally had Abby in his grasp, and she was taken from him so easily. It didn't make any sense.
Gregory never made any decree that he wanted to marry, and Abby made no mention of it as well. That woman loved to talk, and he was sure that was something that she would've mentioned.
It was part of his contract to make that type of announcement since Jared's father put a law in place that required him to approve of it. 'That's my loophole,' Jared thought with a grin. 'That's how I'll get her back. It doesn't matter what her parents say. My rule says otherwise. If he refuses, I'll just have him fired and expelled from the city.'
