CHAPTER 52 I Will Keep You Safe

Cecilia exclaimed as she approached Gayle. She ran her finger along the scar on her armpit. The fact that it was real made her feel even more troubled about the situation.

　　"It seems there was a mutation from what I've learned. There is evidence that vampires coexisted with humans for millennia. They simply were unaware of their existence prior to the beginning of the takeover, " Gayle clarified. "The Vampire King decided that humans had enough time to be the superior race on this planet. He was responsible for the takeover, which resulted in the world being divided up between the vampires, the wolves, and the fae."

　　"Wait a minute. Do you believe in werewolves as well?" Cecilia questioned. "And why are you talking as if this wasn't common knowledge to you?"
