　　Cecilia trailed behind Lady Gale as she led the way back to Jonathon’s room. She was still in shock from the whole situation. Cecilia didn’t expect to be rescued, especially not by Lady Gale. She thought she would never see her again.

　　"Come. Walk with me. How can I talk to you if you are behind me?" Lady Gale said.

　　"Yes, ma’am," Cecilia picked up the pace and walked in time with Lady Gale, who walked as if she was floating across the floor. Lady Gale said nothing as they walked. The awkward silence was wearing on Cecilia, and she finally said, "Thank you for saving me."

　　"You need to be more careful, Cecilia," Lady Gale responded, "It was by chance that I saw you in the hallway. I won’t always be there to save you." Cecilia nodded and said nothing more.
