"No. Hell no,"
Jonathon sat down at his desk, frowning at Magnus. He should never have let him into his room. Jonathon should have known that Magnus wasn't just checking up on him because he cared about him.
"Why not? It’ll be good for your pet to have a friend around," Magnus reasoned.
"She doesn’t need a friend. She’ll expect this moving forward," Jonathon countered.
"Is that such a bad thing? Humans are social creatures," Magnus said simply. His eyes wandered over the room, and he noted that the small bed on the floor hadn’t been slept in. Magnus looked at Jonathon with a raised eyebrow. "You let her sit on the couch?"
"That’s none of your business, Magnus, and the answer is no," Jonathon said firmly. He needed to get Magnus out of his room before Cecilia got back and before he found out that Cecilia had been sleeping in his bed. Magnus gossiped a lot, and he didn’t need people to find out about this.
