Cecilia leaned against the door that closed behind her and touched her neck. Touching the bite mark sent tingles down her body again. She could get used to the feeling, but she didn’t know how far this would go. Cecilia would be lying if she said that she didn’t want to find out.
‘Get a grip. He’s still a monster,’ Cecilia thought as she made her way to the dining hall. It didn’t take her long to find it on her own. She was stopped once or twice, but she showed the note that Jonathon gave her in case she ran into trouble.
Cecilia walked into the dining hall. Her stomach growled loudly as she realized that they hadn’t eaten breakfast or lunch. She took the first left and entered the kitchen.
Surprisingly, the staff greeted her cheerily. She helped that one morning and left notes on how to improve the dishes. They were treated better because of it.
