CHAPTER 14 Lady Gale
Cecilia was able to locate the garden in a short amount of time. Although Darla was a jackass, it turned out that what Darla said was true, and all Cecilia needed to do was follow the signs.
As Cecilia reached the door that led to the garden, she had the impression that there was no way for her to get out of this place. The castle was far larger than she expected. Cecilia noticed that the hallway was empty of other people. It was unusually silent. Possibly, this location wasn't frequently visited.
Cecilia pushed open the entrance to the garden, and as soon as she did, she took a deep breath of the crisp autumn air. Because she was only wearing a t-shirt, she felt the chill of the air and shivered slightly. Cecilia made it a point to stay warm by standing in the sun whenever she could.
