Chapter 2: Breakfast with 'family'

"Maybe I should take a walk around this house."

Nora get up from her chair then walk in her room. As Nora about to open her room door, she notice a purple book on drawer beside the door.

"A book? Maybe I will know something about this count."

Nora take the book then walk out of her room as she open the book.

'Nora's diary... I don't know she will write her diary, it never mentioned on the novel. I feel like she just like me who likes to write a diary. Maybe I should write the diary for her if there's space for me to write, I mean I'm in her body now... I hope she doesn't mind it.'

Nora close the diary book and look surrounding her then she turned to look outside of the window.

"No one around.. is it because it still early in the morning?"

Nora suddenly heard footsteps sound, she turn towards where the footsteps sound is. A little boy with messy dark brown hair and eyes standing infront of Nora and look at her.

"Good morning, Noona." The little boy spoke to Nora.

"Good morning. Do you need something?"

The little boy was surprised by Nora's word. Nora usually say short words then walk away and she never ask anyone if they need something.

"I want to go to your room to ask you something but since you already here..."

"What you want to ask?"

"I- I just want to ask if you want to eat breakfast together with me and others..." the little boy look down,"Because you never eat with us after a long time. You always eat late, in two hours after everyone finished eating."

"...Yeah, Sure."

"Right, you won't eat with us. Huh? Wait, really!? You will eat with us today?"

The little boy was shock when Nora agreed to eat breakfast with him and the rest of their family. Nora never agreed to eat with them before and now she agreed to eat with them.

"...I was about to go there anyway. It doesn't mean I will always eat with you guys." Nora replied as she looked out the window to avoid her awkwardness.

"Great! Let's go then, the other's already waiting for us!"

The little boy take Nora's hand with excitement on his face and start walking, Nora was taken aback by it.

'It looks like this little guy are Nora's half-blood little brother and his about 13 year's old. If I'm not wrong in the novel said he's name is Chris, Chris Ellison.'

Before Nora could think more, she and her little brother, Chris, arrive at the dining room.

Nora can see her family sitting there. Her family was surprised by Nora's appearance because she always eat after they finish eating and never wanted to eat with them. What more even surprise that she let Chris hold her hand.

Her father, the current head of the Ellison household, William. Next to him was Nora's stap mother, the countess, as well as her two son and two daughter. The six people look towards Nora.

"You came earlier then usual today. You usually eat late and doesn't want to eat with us."

Nora gaze turned towards her father who spoke to her.

"I just want to eat early today."

In [The Hero twin's] described Nora's feeling to her father like this.

'Her father are the only one person who listened to Nora. And the reason why the useless brat never leave the area and got everything she wanted because of her father, Count William Ellison...'

The count may be stronger than every count in the novel but he was a softie towards his children but not that soft towards Nora. And there's other individuals.

Her step mother who doesn't really like Nora that much because of Nora's personality and she knows Nora doesn't like and avoid her.

Her first and forth born son who doesn't really like Nora for how she acts towards the family. Even her second and third born daughter also avoid their older sister Nora.

It wasn't like she bother about them and they bother Nora. They treat each other like stranger.

Unlike the youngest of the family, he still love his older sister Nora, he doesn't treat her like stranger and care for her although she treats him like the rest of the family.

"Take a seat, Nora."

"Yes, father."

Nora looked at the table that she did not meet her definition of breakfast and sit down on her seat beside her youngest sibling and put her book on her lap.

William was staring at Nora even the rest of the family also staring at her. Nora doesn't care about it at first but they still staring at her and mad her fell uncomfortable.

Nora can't take it and made eye contact with each of her family members. They all quickly turn away whenever she made eye contact at them and continue eating.

'I think they find me too difficult to them.'

Nora turn her head towards the table as well. She first cutting the sausage into half with the knife.

'It so juicy and delicious.'

Nora notice her youngest sibling, Chris, haven't start eating yet because he keeps putting the carrot away to other side of he's plate. Nora push her plate to Chris.

"Huh?"

Chris look at Nora with confusion on his face.

"If you don't like to eat the carrot then give it to me."

"O- Oh."

Chris was shock by Nora's sudden kindness and he give his carrots to Nora. Nora realize that she's been watched by her family, she glaze at them and notice the shocked expression on their face then she turn her gaze at them.

"What? Why you guys keep looking at me?"

Nora family turn their heads and didn't answer her questions. Nora put her plate back to her place after her youngest brother finished putting his carrots on her plate.

"..."

Nora continue eating as well with her family.

'This meal are delicious but it's to luxury to eat it when breakfast, I would rather eat only bread with hot choco or milk for breakfast. And I should go to the library later.'
