Chapter Eight

Fiona didn't spend much more time with Juliette, the others had arrived and it was time for her to go talk again. Walking to the stage, she congrats the top ten people, then showed who will continue to the next game.

"The Top Two contestants will lead a team, the team that lose is eliminated. Can Juliette and Contestant# 35 come up to the stage?" She smiled at the crowd, the omega from earlier, got up and another Omega also walked up. didn't pay attention to how the crowd reacted, while the comment section exploded in surprise. Fiona didn't really care about second gender, she was used to one set of genders and it was she-they-he. She was just excited to see how the two will act to each other. Will they instantly hate each other? Be super competitive? Be good sportsman?

Fiona handled them a tablet that was hooked up to the screen behind her. "Pick your team names and then we will start the lottery for your teammates." She told them, the long haired man quickly typed a name in, Leo. "Great name, how about you, Juliette?"

Juliette looked at the tablet blankly as she struggled to find a name underneath the eyes of everyone. "I will just go with Tigers." She tried to think of a better name, but she couldn't think of anything.

"Okay, now our second game," Fiona turned towards the screen. A field with four large towers, "your team will have two towers, surrounded by traps and one flag showing ownership of the tower. Every player will have a necklace and to kill a another player is by taking the necklace. Your team will have a armory, filled with enough 'weapons' for each player."

Fiona pointed to the two people beside her, "Juliette and 35 will have to be alive at the end of the game for your team to live. So, in order to win, your team can steal all the flags or kill the others' leader." She smiled at the audience, "we will see you tomorrow on the field!"

Juliette felt like she was thrown into a fighting pit as it seemed like everyone wanted her dead. This contest wasn't only about a pod and a game now, everyone only found out there was a money prize for each round today. The third place got 250 star coins, he had posted it all over the internet, it was a lot of money. It made them wonder how much first place and second got for winning.

She had met everyone last night, the alphas didn't put her in their eyes, looking down on her. The worst one was probably a older woman who had released her pheromone, it had lingered in her nose, burning and painfully. Juliette felt like puking, trying to moving away from her. No one had done anything, just silently move away.

Juliette looked at the large fields with interest, the grass was over five feet. The towers was seven floors, the traps were pits and snares. They put in random spots and their second tower had more traps. Obviously, she should be in the more guarded tower, protected from the other team. But she didn't plan on doing so, instead she was heading for 35.

A replacement omega was set up in the second tower, betas as her guards with a couple Alphas. The rest of the omegas will be with the stronger alphas, heading for the towers. Omegas were weaker, but they generally had more endurance and speed. She had hope that they can add to the chaos while she tries to sneak in and grab the necklace of the other leader.

Fiona turned in her seat, a little bored and tired. Setting up this event was a bit harder as she had to set up various safety items and get weapons that wouldn't hurt any one. She also had to get medics on site and then get the signature of everyone in it. Don't want to get sued if someone gets hurt.

"Boss, your father called you, said you didn't answer," her temporary security guard handed her Bracelet earlier. She had taken it off as she played with it too much and got distracted.

Putting it on, she looked at her missed calls, 'Dad' called twice with one message. She called back, curious on why he would call her. "Hey, what's up?"

"You have a appointment tonight with your doctor, he said you will start taking vitamins and supplements every week." He told her calmly, Fiona tried to remember if this was in the story. She didn't even know that she was lacking in something, she felt like she always had.

"Okay, I will host the challenge and have someone else hold the dinner afterwards." She started to go through the list of employees that would be able to host the dinner. She knew she could trust the closest people to her as her father had personally picked them out. Most of them came here from Planet A, she knew because she asked for a vacation after this for them.
