Two years had passed since the chaos of that night. Daniel sat at his desk, surrounded by stacks of documents. His thoughts were heavy; he often recalled the night of Vivian's death. Natalie had run and disappeared that night. He was still searching for her, knowing it was crucial for Anastasia's safety in case she decided to return to this country one day. Sighing, he pushed the documents aside and leaned back in his chair.
Just then, Jayden knocked on the door. "Sir, we need to leave now. It's time for the event," he said, stepping inside.
Daniel nodded, pushing aside his work. "Let's go," he replied, trying to shake off the gloom.
