With the baby starting to take much of their attention, Nathan asked his Aunt Sanya, Aspen's mother, to assist Raine with their baby while the latter was recovering for the first month after childbirth. But as soon as Raine had fully recovered, she quickly became a very hands-on mother to Aire.
Of course, being a first-time mother was far from an easy task. Still, she took it very seriously and even studied up on the subject just to make sure she was doing it properly.
Raine was currently nursing Aire that night when Nathan arrived home from work. He had come home late due to some hiccups that their group was experiencing, and Nathan looked surprised to see that she was still awake.
"You're still up?" Nathan murmured in surprise as he walked towards her, giving her a loving kiss before then kissing Aire who was still feeding on her. "How could you tempt me like this…"
