Blood was coming out of Alex's mouth he couldn't say anything as he looked at her in complete surprise.
She picked up the back and proceeded to go outside as she saw Alex's leg on the way she stepped on the leg as he groaned in pain. When she went to the garage she couldn't find the keys in the car, so she had to go back and collect it from him when she went in her name was what she heard she was shocked as she saw him on the phone with the police, so he wasn't dead. She rushed to collect the phone from him as he slipped down and loose consciousness then cut the call. Her heart was pounding fast.she has to run as fast as she can . She started looking for the car keys as fast as she can. She looked everywhere but can't seem to find them. There is only one place she didn't check, Alex's pocket.
As soon as she checked it she found it she then rushed to the garage to start the car open the garage and drove away. Even though her driving is not that perfect she has to save her self, the car started jacking Not far from Alex's house showing no fuel and she can clearly hear the police siren , meaning they've reached the house and will soon start searching for her. Anita didn't waste time as it's getting dark , she came out of the car and started running, she ran as far as she can , the police siren is still on she can hear it from a far. She ran to a back yard. When she peeped through the window no one seems to be in the house. So she ran to the back door and tried to open it to her surprise it's open. So she quietly stepped in and closed the door behind her silently .
She took a few steps when she heard a movement that sound like a person turning on the bed. She tiptoed and peeped through the room and saw it was an old woman. She checked the other rooms and found a two girls which seems to be like sisters one is sleeping while other was pressing her phone with head phone on that means she didn't hear her. That means she can't stay here she has to leave , on her way out she saw a veil on the chair she quickly took to cover her face. She came out of the house silently and closed the door. By now the police siren cannot be heard, it looks like they are gone. As it was night already and she doesn't have her phone with her to check time. She came out to the street and started walking fast as the street lights were not that bright they were dim. Her stomach started growling, that's when she remembered she didn't eat anything since the breakfast she had in the hotel. As she kept thinking about food, she saw a police car from a far with a siren, she looked at her left and saw a backyard , she didn't wait for another minute as she rushed into the backyard of the house.
She knelt down behind the house as her heart was pounding , it looks like the police didn't see her as they passed her when she stood up and looked through the window of the house ,it seemed empty , there were no curtains or any house stuff, so she tried to open the back door but it was locked. She tried her best to open the door but she couldn't and if she tries to break the door the neighbors might hear her. She tried looking at the back windows if she can get in. As she tried sliding the glass window of the kitchen slide opened halfway and stopped while making a screeching sound, she tried opening it all but it was stuck, if she wants to get in she has to squeeze herself in somehow. She jumped on the window and stayed on her knees , she first tried put her head and knee in and they successfully went in, the remaining part of her body was the problems. She had to push hard for her body to get in. As she successfully entered her joints were hurting. She looked at the place and the kitchen was empty and dusty , she proceeded to the living room which you can see outside clearly she took a tour around the house and found everywhere to be empty .
She closed all the doors to the corridor where no one will see her and laid there tears rolling from her eyes while looking up and her stomach filled with hunger. She dozed off before she even knew it.
