"I- I - Um...I've heard and seen you perform on many occasions, I have to admit your reputation matches you". Pausing as he breathed deeply and so as to see their reactions, there was exceptional silence as they all contemplated. He continued.

"It's an honour to associate myself to the veteran drummers and this is what I have been dreaming of. I can't express how excited I am". Alex said with a solemn expression, with slow measured steps as his hands were clasped behind his back he had drawn even closer to Bai leader. His beautiful jade like eyes burning with genuine admiration.

Bai leader and the group were taken aback by this sudden turn of events, more over they could sense sincerity in his words, not to speak of his eyes that had nothing but innocence and admiration. It was their first time meeting a young Master with such persona, infact everything that has happened today was their first time to them.

The worried and tensed Bai leader softened, he had long known this young Master of blood culture village.Being incapable of welding a sword and practice martial arts, he had heard so much about him in the rumors that it was quite surprising to see him like this in person. Throughout the Southern villages, he was known as a trash of blood culture. He had absolutely no idea that Alex had such an easy persona.

'After seeing him in person, am beginning to assess the rumors...' Bai leader thought, the picture he had of Alex was that of a pitiful, depressed and drunk person who hated himself for having no ability to practice martial arts. Instead what he was seeing now was that of a carefree youth who seemed to have not a single worry.

If he would get into Alex's head, he would see that Alex had no such dreams, his ambition was to become famous like the drummers. It was as if he was in a completely different world of his own. His perception of this world and things was on a whole other level.

"Innocence...So. So innocent", Bai leader murmured while looking at Alex with such gentleness.

"Ahem!..." Alex cleared his throat to break the suffocating silence around them.

"Young Master Alex... So how can the insignificant drummers like us entertain you", Bai leader grinned as he scratched the back of his head. In some way he was right, they can be famous yet in the eyes of the young masters they were just ordinary drummers who could be ordered anytime.

Up to now Bai leader had absolutely no idea of how he would get rid of Alex, because from the look of things, Alex wasn't going to leave anytime soon. But if Bai leader had to know that Alex had ecaped training, he would use all means to flee. Afraid of what was to happen.

Alex can be a trash, however he was still someone they shouldn't mess with, coupled with the powerful background ,so, Bai leader had to be very careful with words.

At that moment, Alex's eyes lit up, his jade like eyes releasing a brilliant light, there was something about his jade like eyes that gave everyone else a strange feeling. He looked like the owner of happiness, wearing the brightest smile on his charming face.

"Hmm!... I thought you'd never ask, now that you have asked, let me -Uh...Play the 'Lone goddess gracing the mountains ". Alex declared after a thought. Lone goddess gracing the Mountains is his favourite musical piece. He had heard and knew some of the songs ,yet he felt he had an attachment to this piece of music. It felt ... It felt as if he was part of the song and he wondered why it was like that. It was such a shocking thing of how he could have a feeling of familiarity when he had not even listened to the song himself, it was such a rare piece of music.Now that he thought about it, Alex remisced of the time he had tried looking for the song, shockingly , what he found were only a few gibberish characters that were like some ancient text that he couldn't comprehend a single thing. Perhaps the song must have disappeared with the legendary goddess or so he thought. And this was the very song he wanted the veteran drummers to perform, since he had so much hope that they must have known it somehow with regards to how their fame spread across the Southern villages. Because so far, Lone goddess gracing the mountain was the most rare song in this part of the country.

He carefully studied the expressions of the drummers and for a slight moment, he saw their expressions change. That confirmed his suspicions...

'Perhaps its really is one of the legendary songs ' he thought.

' I can't think of anything that would have ... I suppose the rumors are true after all. Looking at him again I suspect he should be well versed in the musical arts that only a few can match him ' Bai reasoned trying to justify Alex's actions.

' Well if a child wants to chew a bone, give him a bone' Bai leader said as he smirked. One that displayed playfulness and an intent of tricking at the same time.

Meanwhile Aiyun and Chang had a myriad of thoughts, looking at it in every angle, it actually proved hard to figure out why the stranger before them had to choose this very piece of music that took them months to grasp it's rythym. They had even found out that this piece of music was capable of injuring martial arts masters but that is just a rumor, however some truths still stand out, and that is; it puts a heavy toll on the body.

Going back Lone goddess gracing the mountains wasn't an ordinary musical piece. It was said to be part of a long lost divine musical piece , nobody knows where or when the original piece vanished to, referring to legends, it was said that the Lone goddess gracing the mountains was nowhere compared to the original. One could only imagine the power of the original musical piece.

The Original musical piece was believed to be profound and divine that throughout generations, experienced music masters have called it Chizomi Mikare, meaning the Song of God. Since no one knows the real name, it was a myth in this world.

Lone goddess gracing the mountains has long history behind but the summary of it is that ; it was composed by an enlightened woman who was a musical master living in seclusion in the mountains, which made her like a goddess afterwards.

Over the years the drummers,this group of drummers had managed to retrieve a fraction of Lone goddess gracing the mountains, struggling to gain an understanding even now.

One has to know that were talented drummers recognized throughout the Southern villages. Their fame spread far and wide. In the Southern villages , they were the extraordinary Musical masters and yet they couldn't comprehend this musical completely for whole of Southern villages would be shocked if they came to know this.

However right at this point the talent of the these drummers shouldn't be underestimated.

Looking back intensely at the people who seemed to be lost in their own train of thoughts, Alex couldn't help but feel displeased.

"What is taking so long?Come on. Play the song"Alex wore a convincly fierce look on his face, he must've have thought that it was the only way to pursuade these drummers. He had to look intimidating.
