Chapter 6, One Year

"Brother"

Hearing something loud in my ear I didn't know what to do since I can't understand this new language, but I kinda understand what she said, but that will not affect anything since I can't answer her.

"Ok calm down Alina and put down your brother before suffocating him in your hug"

Said my mother with a scolding tone to my sister.

That made my sister calm down a little and then she gave me to my mother so she can hold me since I am awake.

"Yes, mother" replied my sister in a slightly downcast voice.

I didn't understand a word of what my mother said to my sister but I at least managed to catch her name which is Alina.

She looks young, 175 cm tall, with crimson hair that reached her back, thin eyebrows, thin lips, and a small nose.

From the looks of the energy she was radiating when she entered the room, she is quite an energetic person.

"So, what brings you here Alina?" said Rebekah

"What mother? Can't I visit my newly born brother, I just heard from the maids that he broke from his shell yesterday "replied Alina in an energetic way.

"Yes, you can come to visit him any time you want, but that didn't mean you can leave your academy without notice," said Rebekah to Alina in a serious tone.

"So what did you name him mother?" asked Alina in an interested tone as trying to divert her mother's attention from this topic.

"I named him Kevin, Kevin Solaris" replied Rebekah to her daughter who was trying to divert the topic but she decided to let her off the hook this time.

While my mother and Alina were talking to each other, since I can't understand anything for now I decided to let my mind drift about what I know about dragons from the first two worlds that I lived on.

Dragons are said to be greedy, lazy, and competitive race.

They are a very territorial race, that hates when other come close to a place where they have already considered their territory or when others eyes their treasures, they can make you a sworn enemy if you steal something from them, and that is also because of their high pride that can contend against a race of demons known as pride demons from stories, that said they have a very high pride that they may choose death over humiliation.

So you can imagine the dragon race's temperament when they are described as being with equal pride.

Well, I had interactions with a lot of dragons in my past world so I can handle them and now that I became one, I wonder how my blood will affect me in the future.

I am really eager to start learning the native language of this place so I can start learning about the place I have been reincarnated to in this life.

But there is something I am really curious about. Do young dragons drink milk from their mother's breasts like kids from the human race, I am really curious, but I guess sooner or later I will find out about that.

As I was lost in thought I heard my mother and sister arguing about something.

"Why don't you give me little Kevin for a while mother?" Asked Alina with a smile that threatened to break from her mother's constant nagging about the academy and other stuff.

"No, off you go to your academy don't take the time I have with my little baby," Replied Rebekah to her daughter's annoying request.

"Then at least let me sleep with you tonight mother!!" said Alina in an annoyed tone.

"hmph, whatever" replied Rebekah with an amused snort at her daughter's constant whining.

And just like that Three months passed in the blink of an eye.

Since that meeting with my sister and mother, I had nothing better to do other than talking to Alice in my head, or learning how to speak from my mother who stayed by my side for the last three months, and my sister who come to visit me every once in a while and sometimes sleep with us.

I got to learn in those three months how to walk slowly and I have to say it was hell.

In my past three lives, the first one I don't remember anything from my childhood since I was just a baby and my consciousness was too weak to have any real thoughts, as my second and third life I didn't have to go through this stage of being a baby since I transmigrated to the body when they were older than fifteen so I didn't have to go through this hell before.

So, after learning how to walk I started to ask my mother to teach me how to read books to understand their language so I won't be clueless like the first day.

After understanding the native language, I learned that I am the prince of the Dragon realm, and my full name is Kevin Solaris.

As for my mother, Her name is Rebekah Solaris and my sister is Alina Solaris, The Queen, and The Princess respectively.

From that moment I knew that my rise in this life won't tedious and full of hardships, maybe it would be long road if I wanted to live a long life this time and not die of old age.

Being a prince means that I will have all kind of benefits and resources available to me because of my position, but if I depended on resources only with out venturing outside to adventure alone, that will lead me to have a weak foundation in the future which will affect my future achievements.

Although, I have no idea which system of power is this world following since I can't sense Mana in the atmosphere like my previous world, but I can sense new type of energy in the atmosphere which I cannot identify, I was going to try and absorb it while my mother was not looking but the System warned me against it without giving me any explanation as usual.

I tried looking for information about the special things of this world but my mother restricted me from learning them early, as she didn't want exhaust a mind of a three month child, of course tat is something that shouldn't be applied to me, but I can nothing regarding that.

So eventually I gave up since I wasn't in hurry to know about the surrounding before even starting to walk around the Palace where I live.

So, just like that I spent the next 9 months doing nothing except reading simple books, sleeping, and playing with my mother and sister.

And finally, after all the pestering my mother with tons of questions about the world, I got my mother to tell me about the universe I got reincarnated into this time.
