Détaché: the act of playing notes separately.

His whole body felt numb. He couldn't even fully move his toes below, let alone be able to move his rest limbs. His consciousness gradually returned, but he still felt the dizziness in his head.
He could move his fingers, but not his hands. He glanced at his side and found that his hand was bound by strong chains. He turned to another side and found that his other hand was bound by the same chains as well. He looked down and saw his legs were also bound by chains.
He now knew the reason why he wasn't able to move his two hands and his two legs.
He couldn't move at all because of the chains. If the chains were just ordinary, he definitely would break himself free in a few seconds, but he couldn't do that right now because the chains were not ordinary.
