Across town, at the Regency hotel, Bella walked through the door that Kyle held opened and she entered the suite.

Nice! You must come from a filthy rich family to be able to stay here for such a long time! Bella said and smiled trying to break the silence between them.

A little money, yes, but not filthy rich. In fact we're looking into getting a house to lease, seeing that we'll be here for a while. Kyle said and immediately wondered that instant if his father was extremely generous maintaining Bella financially.

That's good! Bella said as she looked out at the view from the balcony.

Kyle looked at her beauty as her long hair blew up with the wind and Bella's  green colored wrapped dress fell snugly against her body. He could see her smiling as the strong wind blew her loose hair over her face and instantly he felt his entire body begin to overheat.

Shall we eat? Kyle asked quickly to distract himself from looking at her

Yes indeed, I'm starving! Bella replied as she walked over to him and sat on the chair which he had pulled out for her.

When you said dinner I was expecting salad and steak but these are even better Bella said and laughed as she picked up the hamburger and a few fries.

He walked out of the bathroom and saw the half eaten hamburger and cursed at himself several times. He changed and quickly left the room, not wanting the see anything that reminded him of the fear he saw in Bella eyes moments ago.

He needed a drink, no he needed several drinks he said under his breath and drove to the nearest bar.

Bella left the hotel and sped home. She showered and changed while trying to convince herself that Kyle was not a supernatural being. She knew she saw his eyes earlier but after the bite, it confirmed that he was no ordinary human. It was there that she decided that she couldn't see him anymore as things was starting to get complicated between them.

She changed into jeans and a fitted top and threw on a jacket and headed out. She swung by the abandoned buildings to check for activity but saw nothing so she proceeded to the bar to see if she would see Gregory Hinds.
