'They always headed this way after leaving school. They should still be somewhere nearby.' Walking through the street's of Argus, Pyrrha heard the voices of children. "Get out of here!" Turning her head, she saw two kids no older than eight throwing rocks and anything else they could get their hands on. "Go away you freak!"

Balled up in a corner was a little girl who had small bunny-like ears and tail. Seeing what they were doing, Pyrrha frowned and ran over to them. "Hey stop it!" Grabbing one of the kid's hands before they threw the next thing, they jumped. "Huh who are yo-" Spotting Pyrrha, the kid's eyes widened. "Your…"

Pyrrha didn't let them finish speaking before reprimanding them. "What do you think you're doing? You can't just throw things at people like that. Look what you did to her." The kids shrunk as Pyrrha talked them down, and one of them began to sniffle and cry. "But- But mom said their the reason daddy didn't come back. They deserve it."

Hearing that, Pyrrha was caught off guard for a second before sighing. "Your mother is probably just confused. Just dont do something like this again ok? Both of you can go now." The two kids nodded before running off as Pyrrha turned around and walked over to the little girl. "Are you okay?" The little girl raised her head from her hands with tears glistening in her eyes.

Clearly, this had been happening for a while now, especially with all of the bruises on her body. "Catlyn! There you are!" Pyrrha took a step back as an older woman ran up and picked up the little girl. "I was so worried about you! Never run off like that again. Oh god look what they did to you." Turning to look back at the man behind her, she yelled.

"I told you we should have left this city years ago! Just look at how they're treating us!." The husband balled his fist with a clear look of anger on his face. Before leaving, both the husband and wife looked at Pyrrha. She could see clear hostility and absolute disgust, which caused her to go silent.

"I heard you were the one who lied about the White Fang causing the attack. I actually thought you were different from the rest of the people in this city. But I guess being like the rest of them just comes with the title." The mother's words were harsh as she walked off with her daughter in hand, staring back at Pyrrha.

'But I know the person I had fought was a member of the White Fang… Still I didn't realize how much conflict this would bring to the people of the city.' Pyrrha stood there silently for a moment as she heard a passing conversation. "I feel like that Faunus girl, Shen's always watching me. It's possible they know about the fact Im watching them."

Hearing Shen's name Pyrrha turned around and spotted a grey-haired boy and green-haired girl walking by. "It's possible especially with all the security that building has around it. I'm honestly surprised they bought that one of all choices. It's the biggest building in the area so I bet it draws a lot of attention. Well whatever, we shouldn't keep Cinder waiting."

The Mercury and Emerald began to walk off as Pyrrha looked towards the direction they came from. There was only one large building in this area of Argus, but she didn't know what it was used for. 'Faunus girl? Why would Shen be- Wait a second do they mean Blake?' Pyrrha's mind began to turn as she began walking towards the large building in question.

Meanwhile, outside of Shen's room, Blake had been waiting patiently. She heard footsteps coming from down the hall as Shen's figure came into view. "You're here, how did the meeting with that person go?" Shen nodded before answering. "Well extremely well actually. Although she's definitely not taking me seriously. Good for me either way."

Opening the door to his room Shen walked over to his bed. A uniform was lying on it that Blake immediately had her eyes attracted to. It was a mix of black, white, grey and purple all of the colours she normally wore. It was a combat uniform, without a doubt, being armoured in places but still flexible...

"I had this made just for you.." While Shen was speaking to her, he used a bit of sleight of hand. Without Blake seeing it, he embedded the Life Fibers he had mixed with Salem's magic into the uniform. It was a seamless transition, and on the outside, nothing seemed to have changed. "So this was the gift you were talking about?" Shen rocked his head back and forth before speaking.

"Not exactly but first why don't you try it on?" Blake looked at the uniform and nodded as she walked forward and took the uniform. Going into the bathroom, she took off the clothes she had been wearing and put on the new uniform. Stepping out, Shen put his hand on his chin. "Everything came together well If I do say so myself."

Blake looked different now, with the outfit having a more authoritarian feel to it. Almost everything was armoured with smooth metal. While it was armoured, it didn't take away from any appeal leaving gaps on both her arms and back. More importantly, the outfit had a torn black insignia on its shoulder resembling that of the White Fangs but clearly different.

"It feels strange… It reminds me of what you did to me before in the warehouse." Naturally, that was because the uniform had Life Fibers embedded in it already. 'The third and last time Ill be using Mental Refitting on her wont require me to lift a finger. But first...' Shen began to instruct Blake to do something.

"These clothes aren't just for looks Blake. They are special in more ways than one. I want you to focus and listen." Shen's words were a bit confusing as Shen gestured for her to close her eyes. "I need you to be stronger than you are now Blake. As you are, you wont be able to help me enforce what I'm trying to accomplish. I need to be able to rely on you. Thats what you want as well right?"

Blake, with her eyes closed, nodded as she tried her best to focus. "As long as you're able to get through this you'll become someone I can trust fully. Though it's definitely going to hurt." Blake was about to say something as her eyes suddenly flew open. She felt the clothing on her tighten up as something began to invade her body.

Immediately she collapsed to the ground, shaking and gasping. "Agh!" A piercing scream full of pain came from her mouth as she couldn't hold it in anymore. Shen, in his chair, watched this happen as she stood up. Her screams continued to grow louder and more pained as Shen bent down.

"Power through it Blake. Trust me you'll feel better when it's all over. When and if you make it through this then you can do something to finalize my reliance on you. Kill Mercury, I think Cinder needs to learn what happens when she snoops around too much." With that, Shen stood back up straight and left the room.

Blake's screams of pain grew quiet as the door closed behind him. Looking straight, Shen saw Neo standing on the other side of the hall. "You're really cold, you know that. You seduced her with sweet words before making her experience pain. Even now you don't seem to care or regret a single thing about what you did."

Shen let out a chortle before replying. "I don't think a sadist like you should be saying that. Besides I thought you two disliked one another, so why do you suddenly care?" Neo raised her head as she answered him. "I never said I had an issue with it. It's just strange. The White Fang worship you so much yet on your first few days here you've set them and all the other Faunus in the city up to fail."

Shen nodded. "True, and you helped me do it so neither of us can truthfully say we're saints. Luckily I can promise that when I'm done with Remnant they'll never experience subjugation ever again. Besides they do say history is dictated by the victors." Neo looked at Shen and said something that made him think.

"So what about the rest of us? Where do we fit in your vision for the future?" Eventually, Shen shrugged with a sigh. "Don't know. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. Though I doubt any of you will care about it when that day comes. Anyway I'm going to go take a break. If Blake ends up leaving that room, tell her I said hi."

Shen walked away while waving as Neo's eyes landed back onto the door in front of her. Blakes screams could still be heard through the door even though they were not loud. Silent thoughts ran through Neo's mind as she stood there absently. Hours passed as the sun fell over Argus once more, and the night came.

Staring at the HQ building the White Fang were using from a distance was Mercury. He rubbed his shoulders and sneezed before cursing out loud. 'I can't believe Cinder still wants me to watch this place. I already told her that they probably know I'm here.' He shivered before sighing. 'And of course Emerald gets to stay in her room next to the heater. So unfair.'

As he was complaining to himself, Mercury suddenly felt a chill. It wasn't from the cold, nor was it the type of chill that gave you goosebumps and ran up your spine. It felt... Wrong, so much so he immediately stopped talking to himself and turned around. Looking down the alleyway, everything seemed normal at a glance. No one other than him was around.

"What is that?" Mercury watched as the shadows in the alleyway began to move irregularly. As if they were alive, he saw them become darker and move like snakes. They intertwined with one another as the light from that end of the alleyway disappeared, and only the bleakest of shadows remained. "And that's my que to go."

Turning his head, he prepared to sprint out into the street, but to his surprise, the same had happened to the alleyway entrance he was closest to. As if a wall had appeared, it was as pitch black as an abyss. Even the sky above him had been completely blocked out, and everything around him had gone dark.

"You've got to be kidding me. Emerald! If this is your idea of a prank it's not funn-" Bending forward, heard the wind above his head being cut. After the attack passed over him, he quickly bent down and jumped back. 'What the hell was that!' Looking around while in the air, he couldn't see anything. It was too dark.

Taking a fighting stance after landing back on the ground, Mercury was forced to focus. 'One thing's for sure they're definitely trying to kill me. The amount of people in this city who actually know who I am is close to none. Meaning…' As he was thinking to himself, he heard something coming from directly behind him.

Pivoting on his right leg, Mercury kicked at the air behind him as something fired out the bottom of his boot. The shot seemed to disappear, hitting nothing as Mercury narrowed his eyes. Twisting his body, he jumped into the air and began to spin. All the while, he let out a barrage of shots in every direction mid-air.

Despite it being so dark, the amount of muzzle flashes made it seem otherwise. Landing back on the ground, Mercury saw one of his shots being deflected as sparks flew through the air. "There you are!" Running towards the area the sparks had appeared, he jumped into the air raising his leg up high.

Then coming down with full force, he swung his leg down. The sound of metal clashing with metal rang into his ears, followed by the sound of concrete cracking. Mercury felt his attack stopped as he quickly retreated back. "If you're going to try to kill me at least show yourself while doing it."

Mercury wasn't expecting a response, but surprisingly enough, a figure began to reveal itself just a few meters in front of him. The first thing that struck him was a pair of red pupils with nothing but black behind them. As more of the person in front of him was revealed, Mercury's face went from cautious to shocked.

"You… You're that Faunus chick that guys always have. But what..." Mercury recognized Blake but hardly could say she looked the same. Her skin had turned a smooth light greyish-white, and her long hair had hints of fading red streaks. Around the corners of her face, down to her neck, was black armoured like skin.

She looked entirely different, with Grimm-like features covering her entire body. It reminded Mercury of one person in particular, and that thought terrified him. 'What the hell is going on here. We just saw her earlier today. How did she change so much?' Blake stared at Mercury before speaking.

Her voice sounded nearly the same except for something new. It lacked any hints of reserve or hesitation. It could have almost been mistaken for confidence. "You should focus. If you don't pay attention you could actually lose your head this time." No, it wasn't confidence that was hidden behind that blank expression on her face.

It was enjoyment mixed with an unyielding urge that only a monster could have.
