Waking up after his death he found he had a new lease on life and he also has an interesting System to boot. Blake Belladonna

A/N: There are a lot of characters in RWBY that can potentially be corrupted/turned. I have a few already decided in future chapters, but I definitely want some recommendations.

"A string-based semblance, possibly? I've never heard of one before, but with the world constantly growing bigger, it's possible." Sienna gave off a slightly mischievous smirk before speaking. "In any case, Huntsman are rare among Faunus. And as such are valuable to the White Fang. Their ability to carry out missions alone would require us to amass tons of manpower."

Her finger's tapped rhythmically on the desk in front of her. "For now, it'll be best to learn his full capabilities before making any decisions." The White Fang Officer spoke hesitantly. "And how should we do that? A sudden promotion could lead to complications." Sienna's eyes narrowed as her tapping stopped.

"I agree, which is why I'll be using him to deal with a secondary issue as well. Adam has been getting ahead of himself lately, and that little kitty of a partner is making it hard to control him properly. Find an opportunity to set up our newcomer with her on a mission. I also want a full background check run on him."

Hearing her order's the White Fang Officer nodded and left the room as Sienna sighed to herself. Meanwhile, Shirei had officially gone through verification and had obtained both his mask and uniform. However, one thing that struck him as strange was that he wasn't promoted to a higher rank right away.

He was sure his actions must have been reported, so there were only a few explanations. 'The most prominent being that they are cautious when it comes to me. I suppose that's fine. Getting more opportunities to prove myself just means more EXP as well.' In all honesty, he had originally ignored the idea of joining the White Fang.

As long as he was in the organization, he would have someone to answer to, and that would limit his range of activity. But that also meant there were positives, the most wondrous of which being resources. If he wanted to get to another Kingdom, he would need money or a ship to do so. If he wanted specific information, he would have to search for it himself.

Even the simplest things for other people were a real issue for Shen because he simply wasn't from this world. He had no common knowledge of it outside of what he had seen in his two months here and the RWBY show. So even a simple matter of locating the main cast of RWBY would become a long endeavor.

But if he rose through the ranks of the White Fang, things would be different. He would be able to command them and obtain anything they had access to. As long as he proved his worth, he would be tasked with more difficult missions, which would reap him more EXP while also rising through the ranks.

And that was only the surface-level benefits. In return, all he had to show was temporary subservience and false loyalty. Having spent most of yesterday exploring the facility, Shen had settled himself in his new room, which he luckily didn't have to share. The very next day, he woke up lazily. Nothing interesting ended up happening yesterday other than him trying to level up his ability.

He was beginning to think his System was a little bit busted. I mean, it required so much effort to do things could he really call it an advantage? "Well, whatever the System told me that as I progress, it will get better, so I'll just have to trust it for now." Shen had already gotten into uniform as he tightened the gloves over his hands.

He heard an alert sound coming from his right as he reached for his scroll, which was placed on the table. It resembled a holographic tablet, and all White Fang members were handed one which was linked to the network here. As he clicked on the alert, Shen's eyes lit up. "Finally." The reaction he was waiting for came in, although in a way he didn't originally expect.

[White Fang Recruit Shen. You have been selected for an infiltration, sabotage-based mission. The briefing more information will be disclosed once you reach the meeting point at the set time. You will have a teammate to assist but will not be receiving any additional support during the operation. Good luck to you.]

"If I can level up from this, then I'll be happy. Though I wasn't expecting a teammate, I wonder who it is?" There were still a few hours before he had to go to the meet-up at the point, so Shen began spending that time practicing manipulating Life Fibers. Meanwhile, miles from the White Fang base in Mistral, two figures could be seen standing on top of a building.

One of these people was standing near the edge of the roof overlooking the bustling city below. He had slicked-back red and black hair. He was wearing a black coat along with black pants on his body with rose insignia on the back. Along with that, he wore a mask similar to that of a White Fang recruit; however, it had red markings etched into its surface, displaying his rank.

"Adam, don't you think you've been going over the limit lately?" The other person was a girl who was standing behind him. Her eyes were amber, just like Shen's, and shined as she looked towards Adam and the sun rising on the horizon. She had a noticeable pair of cat ears on her head and wore a black vest over a white crop top over her body with white shorts and stockings covering her legs.

She had a docile-like charm, but at the moment, her voice carried hints of uncertainty. Adam turned his head and looked towards her before speaking. "What do you mean, Blake?" Hearing that, Blake's hand tightened. "You know what I mean, Adam. Lately, no matter the mission, you've been 'Accidently' killing more and more people."

Adam took a step back from the edge of the roof and replied. "We're fighting for the freedom of our people, Blake. Every day more and more Faunus die under their hands. The deaths I cause are insignificant compared to that." Hearing that, Blake's eyes widened slightly, and they spoke in disbelief. "You're trying to justify certain people's deaths based on the actions of others?"

"No, I'm trying to show that what I'm doing is a small price to pay for both sides. When you joined up with me, you said you agreed with me, and we shared a common goal. But lately, you've been hesitating to even go on missions." Blake tensed up slightly, hearing that as he wrapped herself in her arms. "It's not- I just don't like the direction things are-"

She struggled to say what she meant before hearing an alert go off on her scroll. Hearing the alert as well, Adam sighed. "Well, I'll continue this talk later. It looks like we have a new mission." Preparing to make his way off the roof, he heard Blake say something. "Actually, it's only requesting me… They're sending me out with someone else."

Adam's footsteps came to a stop as he swirled around and showed both a shocked and dissatisfied look. "What?" Walking over to her, he snatched the scroll out of her hand and looked at the alert. "It must be Sienna. Only that woman would try to separate us like this. I'll go with you and talk to her. She cant-"

Adam was cut off by Blake taking back her scroll and glancing at him. "Actually, I think this might be for the best. I… I need some time to think. I'll see you later, Adam." Blake made her way to the roof exit and left without giving Adam a chance to speak, which resulted in him slowly clenched his fist to the point of shaking.

Two hours passed since then, and the time of the meeting was getting close. "Alright, best not arrive late. Still, I'm surprised I can make this much without getting tired." The entirety of Shen's room was full of red string's. A web coated the room to the point you could barely see the walls or ceiling.

If someone was to walk into this room and Shen designated them as an enemy, he would easily be able to subdue them before they could make a sound. Standing up from his bed, Shen closed his hands. In a matter of seconds, all of the Life Fiber's flew back into his body, not even leaving a trace.

Walking out of his room, he began walking down a series of halls until making it to one of the elevators. He rode it until he reached the very first floor and made his way to a special section of the facility. It was by far the place that took up the most space and also held the most value. It was a massive clearing inside of a mountain supported by metal beams and foundations.

However, what was important was that it was filled to the brim with vehicles and supplies. Ships, Trucks, Boats, all types were being stored here and used to the White Fang's discretion. Of course, that also included that mountains of weapons were also being transported in and out of this area.

It was the source of the White Fang's power in Mistral. Walking through the different area's Shen made his way to a hangar where a ship was already prepped and ready to fly. Shen's movements froze when he walked into the hangar, and that was because of one reason. 'What is she doing here?'

Standing next to the ship where Blake and the Pilot are seemingly waiting for someone. When they spotted Shen, he immediately tried to control his shock. "Are you Shen?" The Pilot walked up to him and verified his identity. "Yes, that's me." Shen was speaking to the Pilot, but his eyes were still locked on Blake.

'I was confused where in the timeline the story was, but from the looks of it, the main story hasn't even started. That means Ruby and the rest aren't at Beacon yet, and Salem is still idle. That also means Adam has become the High Leader of the White Fang.' His window of possible moves had just widened by a lot from seeing Blake here.

"Alright, get on board when you're ready to depart. The briefing will be concluded while we fly." The Pilot made his way to the ship and got into the cockpit area. Meanwhile, Shen walked up to Blake and held out his hand. Blake seemed reluctant but held out her hand and greeted him. "Hello, my name is Bl-" Before she finished, Shen cut her off.

"Blake Belladonna, right?" Blake's gaze widened a bit as she heard Shen mention her name. "How did you… You know my full name?" Shen smiled gently. "Of course, I'm actually an avid supporter. You're one of the reasons I had the courage to join the White Fang. I really do appreciate everything you do for us."

Listening to Shen's word's Blake's face showed surprise and then embarrassment with a tint of red begging to spread. She touched the back of her head and spoke shyly. "I didn't know there were actually people who paid attention to me... I don't know what to say." Shen waved it off as he responded.

"Of course! A Lot of my friends are fans as well, but they didn't end up joining the White Fang. In any case, it's an honor to work with you." Hearing even more praise, Blake could only give out a dry laugh as she began moving awkwardly towards the ship. Standing there and watching her, a scheming smirk appeared on Shen's face before he followed after her.

Each hanger was connected to a tunnel that led outside discreetly. So just a few minutes after the ship took off, Shen found himself overlooking the outside world and the Kingdom of Mistral. "So, what exactly is the mission?" Blake broke the silence in the ship as she spoke to the pilot. "The premise is that one of our people was able to infiltrate a Schnee Dust company facility located in Mistral."

"Not only that, but they were able to find an opportunity to temporarily disable their Aircraft Radar and communications to the outside world. Basically meaning we were able to get close and airdrop you guys in without being shot down. Normally we would set up a raid for an opportunity like this, but the Branch Leader wants you two to take care of it alone."

Hearing that, Blake's eyes trailed over to Shen. 'Alone? If I was with Adam, we could probably handle it, but…' She could clearly see Shen was a new recruit, so her confidence in his abilities was lacking. "In any case, when you two enter the facility, your mission is to take out the central computer system controlling the facility and its production of products."

Once again, Blake's eyes trailed to Shen sitting a little ways away. Shen had noticed her looks, but he ignored it, or to be more precise, he was preoccupied. 'Hurry up... My EXP is waiting for me.' As if his prayers were being answered, Shen heard the Pilot say something. "Alright, we're almost over the drop zone, so prepare yourselves. Your parachutes are under your seats."

Blake nodded and stood up. "It's fine. I don't need one." The Pilot simply nodded as the ship's side doors slid open, granting her a view of the large facility on the ground below. A couple of seconds later, she heard the Pilot. "Alright, contact us through your scrolls when you need extraction. Now drop!"

Blake jumped from the ship and went into a free fall. 'Huh?' To her surprise, Shen had already jumped before her and was falling much faster. 'He doesn't have a parachute! Oh, No.' As they approached the ground, Blake was preparing to move in and try and save Shen. But before she could, she saw a ton of red string's shoot out of both of his hands.

They flew towards two separate cargo crates near the ground and attached themselves to their surface. Tightening his grip Shen was close to hitting the floor, but his descent was immediately slowed down as the crates creaked slightly. Blake was surprised as she reached for her weapon, 'Gambol Shroud, ' attached to her back.

Taking it out of its sheath, it resembled a hybrid between a collapsible blade and a gun with a long ribbon attached to its hilt. Holding it by that ribbon, she threw it towards a nearby immobile tower crane. The blade spun around the crane's extendable arm, and the blade locked it in place. This immediately allowed her to slow down before shaking the ribbon and releasing her weapon.

Just like that, the two of them managed to land in the Facility without suffering so much as a scratch. Retracting her weapon and sheathing it, she looked over at Shen. "Are you a Huntsman?" Hearing the question, Shen shook his head. "No, but I do know how to handle myself. Now then, we should get moving."
