Katelynn just stayed in the room as she was told.
She looked around and found there was nothing special in this room. No decoratives, no posters, no pictures, and anything else that give out the personality of the man whom others called Klast. The only thing that she could point out was the carpet.
This made her think that maybe, this room is not his real room. Just like what Grehm said, she should treat it as a hotel.
After some time had passed, with nothing to do, Katelynn eventually got bored. There was no television, computer, or anything that would entertain her.
Not even an hour had passed but if she kept thinking, she's aware that the traumatizing memories will come biting her back. If she thinks and cries about it all the time, she would go insane.
With boredom comes hunger. Stress-eating sounds good.
Katelynn has gone through multiple depressing phases in her life. It's sad but she knew what's the best way to cheer herself up because of this.
"Let's see..."
She sat up from the bed and reached out for the telephone.
"Wait... what do I dial?"
As she asked that, she saw a number plastered on the telephone. Since that was the only clue, she tried it and the telephone rang.
[Hello, what can I help you with?]
"Umm... I was told that I can get food...?"
Katelynn timidly asked. She didn't have any money with her. What if her bad luck strikes again? She never knows.
[Yes, we offer everything from food to toiletries. You must be new, can I know the code for your Guest Pass?]
The man behind the telephone asked respectfully.
"Ah... wait..."
Katelynn looked at the card in her hand. There were many times that she lost things because of whatever reason there is. Since she was told how important the card is, she held onto it the whole time.
"4K38SJH..."
She read out loud.
[Alright, code confirmed. What would you like to eat?]
"Umm, are there a menu or something?"
[As long as you know the name of the food and that it exists, we can prepare them.]
"Really? Anything?"
[Yes, anything as long as it exists.]
"W-wow..."
This shouldn't be a joke so Katelynn was very impressed. After thinking for a while, she asked for a fast-food meal which she craved right now.
[Do you have more orders?]
"That's all, thank you."
[... thank you too.]
There was a weird pause right there which made Katelynn anxious for a moment.
[The food will be delivered to Room?]
"291"
[291?]
Katelynn frowned. Did she answer wrong? Did she misremember the number?
"Yes...?"
[Ah, my apology, it's nothing. The food will be delivered to Room 291 after three hours.]
"T-three hours!?"
Katelynn was shocked.
[Yes, please wait.]
The voice behind the telephone suddenly got called before it buzzed out - it got cut.
"Three hours? Huh? What happened?"
Katelynn fidgeted, did she make a mistake?
But after thinking about it, she found an explanation.
"Ah, maybe since their menu is literally everything, their preparation time is long."
... after five hours, Katelynn woke up from the loud knocking.
Retrieving her senses back, Katelynn rushed.
"W-wait!"
But then, the carpet had a fold upwards, making her trip onto it.
Thud*
She hit her head on the door.
"Aw!"
Katelynn held her forehead while opening the door. Doing so revealed a man wearing a mask standing in the hallway.
"Here's your food, guest."
Grr*
Smelling the meal, Katelynn's stomach immediately growled.
"Hehe... thank you."
With a rosy face, she accepted the warm paper bag.
"Be careful next time, guest." with a cold voice, the man turned and walked away.
Katelynn looked at the man walking away. She remembered how bizarre her situation really is. She has no idea where she is and everyone she met was outright 'unique'
Closing the door, Katelynn slowly walked. This was her long-awaited meal. She didn't want to trip again and ruin the food.
Once she sat down, she opened the container and saw the meal.
"Huh... it looks normal."
She commented and was slightly disappointed. From how weird everything was, she expected it to be 'unique' too. Although the delivery boy was unique too so she couldn't complain that much.
Katelynn then took a bite.
It was delicious.
No, the meal was not anything special. She's just that hungry.
When she was about to take her third bite, the door suddenly opened, scaring her a bit. Fortunately, she kept her food safe.
She cautiously looked at the person who entered without knocking. As expected, it's the owner of the room - Klast.
"..."
Klast looked at her with tired eyes while Katelynn looked back with a glare.
Upon seeing this man, Katelynn's mood immediately soured. And when he walked forward, she slightly flinched.
It was a bit awkward as no one was speaking. Katelynn's heartbeat skyrocketed when Klast came closer. She remembered the moment earlier which Klast answer that she will be a tool for his 'sexual needs'
Since she saw Klast's strength, she knew that any resistance will be futile.
Without a word, Klast went onto the bed while Katelynn readied herself. This was the first time she will take a step into this world but she didn't expect that she will experience it as a 'tool'
Then suddenly-
Klast hopped and Katelynn's closed her eyes as she turned her face away.
"..."
But... nothing happened?
Slowly, she opened her eyes and rolled them to see Klast lying on the bed with his eyes closed. He still wore his mask so she can't see his whole face. But even then, she knew that he was already sleeping.
"... what?"
Katelynn muttered before looking at her lap.
"Ah!"
She just noticed that she dropped half of her meal. It's not her fault as she thought she was about to be assaulted. Katelynn was relieved nothing happened but at the same time... she was hungry.
As she gets depressed over her lost food, she heard a snore.
Once that snore entered her ears, she realized something.
'This is my chance...'
I said that I would publish twice a day but I didn't publish any for two days... and that's becuase I got addicted to this game. I'm ashamed.
But I finally finished grinding the event and now, I have time again.
Sorry!
